Adalya Port Hotel Overview
You know what struck me first about Adalya Port Hotel? It’s tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street in Kaleiçi’s old quarter where you can actually hear the harbor waters lapping against the ancient walls – something you don’t get at those big resort chains perched up on the cliffs. The building itself has this weathered stone facade that honestly looks like it’s been watching over Antalya’s old port for centuries, though the inside tells a completely different story.
I mean, calling it a boutique hotel feels almost too formal when you’re sitting in their courtyard with a Turkish coffee, watching the owner’s cat weave between tables while the evening call to prayer drifts over from Yivli Minare just a few blocks away. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully restored – they’ve kept the original stone walls and wooden beams but added modern touches that actually make sense, like proper shower pressure (thank god) and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. The whole place has maybe fifteen rooms, so you’re not fighting crowds for anything, and honestly, that 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here a night or two.
What really sets this place apart – and locals will tell you this – is that you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters in old Antalya. Hadrian’s Gate is basically around the corner, the marina with all its restaurants is a three-minute stroll downhill, and you can wander up to Cumhuriyet Square for shopping without breaking a sweat. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: because you’re on Iskele Street, you’re far enough from the main tourist drag that it stays relatively quiet at night, even during peak summer season. I actually slept with the windows open in June, which is saying something for this part of Turkey.
The staff runs the place like a family operation – they’ll remember your name after day one and somehow always know exactly when you need restaurant recommendations versus when you just want to be left alone. Parking can be tricky (it’s the old quarter, after all), but they’ll sort you out with a spot nearby, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway. Everything’s walkable, and the narrow streets are half the charm. Just pack light if you’re arriving by taxi – those cobblestones weren’t designed for rolling suitcases, trust me on that one.

The hotel is a beautiful older building set just inside the old city walls and steps from the port. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable (including recognizing special events). The breakfast was an 11 out of 10! A lot of variety, eggs to order and with great service and served I a lovely fourth floor room with views of the port.

The staff are amazing and so polite, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel part of the family. Breakfast is superb but not to everyone’s taste, presentation and variety is excellent but the staff will try to accommodate other choices if not suitable.
What could be improved: The hotel is showing signs of wear but this is also part of its charm. We would still recommend thoughRishabh from India – 21 May 2025 (9/10)
Great location, amazing staff, definitely good value for money! Breakfast was quite extensive. We were given a room upgrade as well which was really sweet of them as it was my wife's birthday week, the gesture meant a lot. Loved the breakfast spread! They even packed some for us the next day when we had an early check out.
What could be improved: Nothing at all! Lovely stay!Sashika from South Africa – 20 May 2025 (9/10)

The staff here were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us with any issues we had. Every day, they cleaned our room, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The view at breakfast, right by the port, was beautiful—like something out of a movie—and the breakfast itself was a delightful feast. When we had a problem with our car rental, a staff member stepped in to assist us in recovering our money and arranged for a new car. The lesson we learned? It’s best to rent from the airport in advance to get better prices instead of choosing rentals in town! 7/8 min walk to the Old Town.
What could be improved: The only downside was that the kitchen was located above our room, which meant we woke up really early due to the noise.Kerry from Australia – 18 May 2025 (9/10)
The location in the port was perfect. The room was charming & service spectacular.
