Adria Inn Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of boutique places around the Mediterranean, but the Adria Inn caught me off guard in the best way possible. Tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street called Mescit Sokak – honestly, you’ll walk past it twice before you find the entrance – it’s one of those places that doesn’t need star ratings because it’s doing its own thing entirely. The building itself has that weathered Ottoman charm that you can’t fake, with thick stone walls that actually keep the rooms cool even when Antalya’s summer heat is brutal outside.
What really got me was how the owners (they’re usually around, which I love) have managed to preserve all the historical character while making everything work for modern travelers. The rooms have these gorgeous arched ceilings and original stonework, but you’re not sacrificing comfort – the beds are actually decent, and thank god, the wifi reaches everywhere. I mean, the bathroom in my room was small, sure, but it had this incredible view through a tiny window that looked out over the old city rooftops. You know what’s funny? The place doesn’t have a pool or fancy spa, but honestly, you’re a three-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate and maybe five minutes from the marina where all the restaurants are. I found myself spending most evenings just wandering the maze of streets around Kaleiçi – it’s tourist-heavy during the day, but early morning and late evening, it’s magical.
The breakfast situation is simple but spot-on – fresh bread, local honey, cheese, tomatoes that actually taste like something. They serve it in this tiny courtyard that gets morning sun but stays shaded by afternoon. Parking is… well, forget about parking right at the hotel, but there’s a public lot about a ten-minute walk away, and honestly, once you’re settled in the old town, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway. The staff speaks enough English to help with restaurant recommendations (go to Vanilla Lounge for dinner, trust me), and they’re genuinely helpful about things like airport transfers and day trips. I stayed there during shoulder season in May, and it was perfectly quiet at night – though I imagine it gets livelier in peak summer. For the price point and that 8.1 rating it’s earned, the Adria Inn delivers something that bigger hotels in the area just can’t: you actually feel like you’re staying somewhere with a story, not just passing through another generic room.

Reviews of Adria Inn
Dinara from Kazakhstan – 22 May 2025 (7/10)
Расположение отличное
What could be improved: Цена высоковата. Ainur from Kazakhstan – 16 May 2025 (8/10)
Very good location, near the harbour and other sights. The staff is very helpful and kind.
What could be improved: The floor was very cold, no carpets, only tiny slippers. Expected wider rooms, rooms are small.Konstantin from United Arab Emirates – 14 May 2025 (8/10)

Very convenient location and new built facilities. Absolutely clean and tidy. Thank you.
What could be improved: The shower room took a bit long to drain and the toilet sit was a bit loose but they were not any big deal so we were all good with that.Habib from Pakistan – 5 May 2025 (8/10)
