Ali Apart Overview
You know what struck me first about Ali Apart? It’s tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street in Kaleiçi where you can actually hear the call to prayer echoing off the old stone walls in the morning – honestly, it’s pretty magical if you’re into that sort of atmospheric stuff. The building itself feels like someone’s great-aunt’s house that got the boutique treatment, which I mean in the best possible way. There’s character in every corner, and you’re literally a two-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate, though good luck finding the place initially because Tabakhane Sokak isn’t exactly well-marked (pro tip: look for the small wooden sign, not a flashy hotel entrance).
What really gets me about this place is how it manages to feel authentically Turkish without trying too hard. The breakfast spread actually includes proper Turkish cheese and those flaky börek pastries that most tourist hotels butcher, and the staff – well, they seem to genuinely care about whether you find the good lokanta down the street or end up at some overpriced tourist trap near the marina. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, with Ottoman-style details that don’t feel like theme park decorations. I stayed in October when the weather was still warm but the summer crowds had thinned out, and honestly, you could hear the Mediterranean lapping against the old harbor walls at night when the city quieted down. The air conditioning works properly too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with Antalya’s summer heat.
Here’s the thing about staying in Kaleiçi – and Ali Apart gets this right – you’re choosing atmosphere over modern convenience, but it doesn’t have to mean sacrificing comfort. The Wi-Fi is solid (I worked from there for a few days without issues), the bathrooms are updated enough that you’re not dealing with Soviet-era plumbing, and there’s actually decent water pressure. Parking is basically impossible in the old town, but they’ll sort you out with directions to a nearby lot if you’re driving. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you realize you’re paying four-star prices for what feels like a genuine cultural experience rather than just another Mediterranean beach hotel. I’d definitely go back, probably in spring next time when the bougainvillea is blooming and you can sit on those little balconies without melting. Just don’t expect a pool or a gym – you’re here for the winding streets, the history seeping out of every wall, and that perfect spot where you can walk to everything that matters in old Antalya.

A spacious, clean and comfortable apartment in the old town, perfect for a family reunion.
What could be improved: Only one set of keys (and we were 6 people)Mohammad from United Kingdom – 8 August 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: It was in a busy areaSaad from United States – 1 August 2024 (9/10)
It is a very big apartment with 3 bedrooms enough for our family of 5. The children loved that they could have their own bedrooms. I have to applaud at the response to a broken washing machine to the owner. He sent folks to take a look at it within 20mins and then they got an electrician in another 20mins since the wire and connections were burned out. In less than an hour, we had a running washing machine. My family and I was very appreciative of the quick response.
What could be improved: Wi-fi connection wasn't the greatest. Bit noisy with live music late in the nightMelinda from Hungary – 29 June 2024 (10/10)
Very well equipped, huge, nice apartment in the heart of the old town

The apartment was clean and spacious. Our flight was delayed and landed at 4am so we are very grateful that the hosts has managed to give us the keys at this time. They have a full kitchen with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and stove. All three rooms has aircondition. Living room has also its own. Its in the middle of the city where pubs and restaurant are just walking distance. Honestly, we really loved our stay and will be staying here again if we go back to Antalya.

It's really nice apartment. All the rooms have air conditioning; the stove, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine all work and we used it. There are two toilets, it is very convenient when 6 people live:)
