You know what caught me off guard about Anatolian Homes & Apart? The name makes it sound like some generic apartment complex, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected when I first pulled up to that quiet street in Altınkum. It’s tucked away on 417 Sokak – one of those narrow residential roads where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which is pretty rare when you’re this close to Konyaaltı’s main strip.

The whole setup is sort of like staying at a friend’s well-appointed guest house rather than a typical hotel. I mean, it’s officially rated 3 stars, but the apartments feel more spacious and homey than a lot of 4-star places I’ve crashed at. The owners clearly put thought into the details – decent kitchen setups if you want to hit the local market (there’s a great one about ten minutes’ walk toward the beach), and the kind of reliable WiFi that actually works when you need to upload photos or catch up on work. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays even during Antalya’s busy summer months. That location in Altınkum means you’re far enough from the main Konyaaltı beach crowds but close enough to walk there in about fifteen minutes when you want the action.

The 8.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking wasn’t a nightmare (which, let’s be honest, can be a real issue in this part of Antalya), and the staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to point you toward the good restaurants that locals frequent rather than just the tourist traps. I ended up spending most evenings on the little balcony with takeout from this incredible pide place they recommended – you can see glimpses of the Mediterranean between the buildings if you crane your neck just right. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it feels comfortable rather than like you’re constantly being sold something. Perfect for people who want to experience Antalya more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through.

  The staff is great, especially Mustafa. He was very friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day. The accommodation is very close to nice restaurants and cafes. It is also very close to the sea and transportation. Everything was great.

  Excellent location in a very nice part of the city. There are many good restaurants in under 5min walking from the apartments. The apartment was very spacious and had an extra sofa, which was convenient. Nice to have laundry and a kitchen. Good cleaning. The staff was very nice and helpful all the time. Very good price per quality
  
  What could be improved: Some minor issues, such as
  – lack of essentials: there was basic kitchenware, but knives were bad.
  – The apartment didn't have anything: tea, salt, sugar shampoo, but did have dish soap and hand soap. It is not vital, and in the long term fine, but it would be a good addition if we didn't have to buy a kilo of sugar, which we didn't need and if there was at least tea in the apartments.
  – The Air-conditioning seemed dirty, so we didn't try it

  Stayed here for three weeks in one of the top-floor King Suites with balcony. Three adults and a two-year-old. The owners supplied a lovely cot for our little one, as well as taking other child-safety measures. It was a great location for our needs, and we wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.
  
  What could be improved: Kept having to go down to reception in order to ask for basic things such as extra toilet roll. There was no anti-slip mat provided in the shower, despite requesting one.

  The size of the rooms where good and the bathrooms where clean. The owner and his family where very kind and helpful. The location was perfect, everything was from walking distance and old town was only 15min away with a taxi, I would definitely recommend this hotel to families or a big friend groups. I will definitely visit again.
  
  What could be improved: When we came the rooms where very clean but the cleaners didnt clean well when they came to clean our rooms our 4th day. They just changed the covers. But other than that everything else was perfect.

  Good location of the apartments, 10-15 minutes to the beach; there are many shops and cafes nearby, a bus stop is a five-minute walk away. there is a balcony, clothes dryers, the room is quite spacious, easy check-in / check-out, friendly staff.

  What could be improved: The TV did not work, they reported to the reception twice but there was no reaction. Well, it's okay, we did without TV. I would also recommend hanging a curtain or making a threshold in the shower, as the water spreads over the toilet and the floor. A bit short on utensils, we only had one pot and pan (for cooking).
