You know what caught me off guard about Anelli Hotel? Walking up to this little boutique place on Hürriyet Caddesi, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – the address makes it sound like you’re staying in some random apartment building. But there’s something genuinely charming about how they’ve carved out this intimate space in Kültür Mahallesi, which is actually a pretty solid neighborhood if you want to feel like you’re living in Antalya rather than just visiting it.

The thing about Anelli is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. No fancy star rating to live up to, no massive lobby trying to impress you – it’s just this well-thought-out little place where someone clearly cared about the details. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in feel without being shabby, and honestly, the location works better than you’d think. You’re close enough to the old town that you can walk there when you feel like dealing with the tourist crowds, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without street noise keeping you up. I mean, Hürriyet Caddesi gets some traffic, but it’s nothing compared to staying right in Kaleiçi where the party goes until 3 AM.

What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the area – not just the usual tourist recommendations, but like, where to get good pide that locals eat, which dolmuş routes make sense, that sort of thing. The whole place feels more like staying with friends who happen to run a small hotel rather than checking into some corporate chain. Sure, it’s got a 7.1 rating, which isn’t going to blow anyone away, but sometimes those middle-range scores are more honest than the inflated 9s you see everywhere. There were a few quirks – the shower pressure wasn’t amazing, and the WiFi got a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone was online – but nothing that actually ruined the experience. Actually, I kind of liked that it felt real instead of trying to be perfect. If you’re the type who needs everything to be flawless and resort-like, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want somewhere comfortable and authentic to crash while you explore Antalya properly, Anelli does the job really well.

  Used for stopover on long road trip. For us ideally located as close to main roads. Room was comfortable and clean. Reception staff were very helpful. Enjoyed breakfast, with good choice. We were lucky to park outside the front of the hotel, but there is also a large car park at the end of the street for hotel use. Coffee shop next door and good restaurants close by.

  We stayed only one night, so we didn't have big demands and expectations. But the hotel turned out to be very decent. I would especially like to note the rich (varied) breakfast.

  All of the people working at the hotel were very kind and helpful, the location of the hotel is great for going sightseeing, the breakfast was enjoyable and our room was tidy.

  The staff were good and can speak English to an extent. Gamze, Beran and Ibrahim were very helpful throughout the stay.
