You know what caught me off guard about Antalya D&D Garden? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting some kitschy theme park vibe, but this little 3-star gem tucked away on 1304 Sokak in Haşimişçan is actually one of those places that gets everything right without trying too hard.

The location is pretty perfect if you ask me. You’re in Muratpaşa, which means you’re close enough to walk to the old town (Kaleiçi) when you feel like wandering those narrow cobblestone streets, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep at night. I mean, the address might look random if you’re not familiar with Antalya, but Haşimişçan is one of those neighborhoods where actual locals live – you’ll see kids playing in the streets and old men drinking tea at corner cafés, not just tour groups with matching t-shirts. The hotel itself sits on a quiet residential street, so parking isn’t the nightmare it can be closer to the marina.

What really impressed me was how they manage to feel both homey and professional at the same time. The garden (which, okay, the name makes sense now) is genuinely lovely – not just some token plants thrown around, but this peaceful little oasis where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic. The rooms are clean and comfortable without being fancy, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure guests were happy rather than just going through the motions. Check-in was smooth, they knew enough English to help with restaurant recommendations, and – this is the kind of detail that matters – they actually had good water pressure in the shower.

The 9-point-something rating it’s got online isn’t inflated marketing nonsense, either. You can tell because it’s the little things that add up: towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, air conditioning that works without sounding like a jet engine, and Wi-Fi that actually connects. Plus, you’re maybe a 10-minute walk from some really good local restaurants that haven’t been completely tourist-ized yet. There’s this little pide place around the corner that the hotel staff mentioned – definitely worth trying if you want to eat something that isn’t döner kebab for the fifth time this week. The whole area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which is perfect if you’ve been dealing with the summer heat all day and just want to crash with the windows open.

  We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and everything was exceptionally clean. The facilities were spotless and very comfortable, making us feel completely at home.
  
  The hotel has a modern and cozy design, just like the photos, and features a lovely terrace. Its location is perfect—very close to the old town (Kaleiçi) and within walking distance of the city center and many shops.
  
  I highly recommend this hotel to everyone without exception. It truly offers comfort, peace, and a welcoming atmosphere.

  The staff are very helpful and attentive, hotel is modern and clean, location is great – in a quiet street just 150 metres from the entrance to the Old Town.
  
  What could be improved: The walls are very thin. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend to bring ear plugs.

  Everything was very good. We stayed here for one night after the flight before going to Alanya. We arrived after midnight and still were able to check in, no additional payment was required. Staff was very helpful and replied to all messages. The location is amazing – right in the city center of Antalya. Train station is close enough, and with taxi it's also relatively not expensive to reach (10-15€ from the airport). Hotel has everything you need in the room: hot water, hair-dryer, kettle and a lot more. Pretty much affordable.
  
  What could be improved: It was new, so some parts were not finished completely (there was no kitchen in the room as on the pictures), also some problems with sound proof, but not so critical, we slept well with no problems at all.
