You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like just another airport crash pad, but honestly, it’s way more thoughtful than that. Yeah, you’re in Altıntaş – which isn’t exactly downtown Antalya – but that actually works in your favor here. The whole area feels more residential and genuine, less touristy chaos.

The apartment itself is really well put together for what you’re paying. I mean, it’s not huge – it’s a 1+1 after all – but whoever set this up actually thought about how people live, not just how to cram in furniture. The kitchen has everything you’d actually use (decent knife, proper coffee maker, enough plates for when you inevitably end up eating Turkish breakfast on the balcony). The pool area is honestly the star though – it’s small but never felt crowded when I was there, and the water’s clean. You can actually hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque in the evenings, which some people love and others… well, just know it’s there.

What really sold me was the practical stuff nobody talks about. Parking is easy – you don’t realize how big a deal that is until you’ve driven around Antalya looking for a spot. The wifi actually works well enough for video calls, which saved me during a work crisis. And look, being close to the airport sounds like a nightmare, but the flight paths don’t really go over this part of Altıntaş, so plane noise isn’t the issue you’d expect. The bigger thing is that you’re about 15 minutes from the coast when traffic’s decent, maybe 25 when it’s not. There’s a solid lokanta right around the corner on 31196 Sokak where the owner’s wife makes incredible mantı – I probably ate there four times in a week. The rating of 8.5 feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it punches above its weight. You’ll sleep well, the AC works properly, and honestly, it just feels like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have better taste in furniture than most of your actual friends.

  What could be improved: Only the view from the window is depressing. The windows look out onto the garbage dump 🙁

  The view of the runway was nice, watching the departure of the planes was cool. There was no issue regarding to oven or kitchen, doing a breakfast in mid of December at the balcony by watching planes was cool. Air conditioning was working nicely. Host was available whenever we text.
  
  What could be improved: When we opened wardrobe's door, there was high amount of damp smell, it was not nice.

  Well-equipped and spacious apartment, excellent pocation for a layover, good communication with the owner.

  The property was well located to the airport (10 EUR taxi) and modern and clean. Good value for money
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately arriving later on in the evening there is only a petrol station and bakery for snacks open.
  Although the property is right next to the airport the planes take off and land all night and with the busy road also going on until the early hours you won’t get any sleep without earplugs. Perhap the host can supply a basket of them in future?

  The apartment is very nice, big, clean and the air condition was on! The swimming pool is a plus and really close to the airport.
  It was so easy to comunicate with the owner.

  Location, very comfortable bedding and other facilities. Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend this place to anyone who's willing to spend a quick night or so in Antalya. It was very close to the airport. Hope the acft noise doesn't bother people as it was close to the runway. We were completely fine with it.
