Antalya Villa Esiyok with heated pool Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Villa Esiyok? It’s tucked away on this winding village road in Hisarçandır – honestly, my taxi driver had to call twice to find it, but that’s actually part of its charm. Once you’re there, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special that most tourists rushing between Kaleiçi and Lara Beach completely miss.
The heated pool is the real star here, and I mean that literally – it’s what you’ll remember most. Not some tiny decorative thing, but a proper swimming pool that stays warm even when the Mediterranean gets a bit nippy in shoulder season. I was there in early April when the weather was still doing that moody spring thing, but floating in that pool with the Taurus Mountains as your backdrop? Pure magic. The villa itself has this lived-in authenticity that a lot of four-star places try to fake – thick stone walls that actually keep things cool, traditional Turkish touches that don’t feel forced, and rooms that are genuinely comfortable rather than just Instagram-pretty. Sure, it’s not brand new and shiny, but everything works and there’s character in the details, like the hand-painted tiles and the way morning light filters through the courtyard.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the coastal highway that you actually hear crickets instead of traffic, which is rarer than you’d think around Antalya. The location works brilliantly if you want to explore beyond the obvious spots. You’re maybe fifteen minutes from the old town when traffic’s decent, but you’re also perfectly positioned for day trips to places like Termessos or even Kaş if you’re feeling ambitious. The owners – and this matters – actually know the area and give solid recommendations that go beyond the usual tourist traps. They pointed me toward this little family restaurant in the village that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking’s easy, which anyone who’s driven around Turkish coastal towns will appreciate, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling or lengthy presentations about spa packages you don’t want.
Look, Villa Esiyok isn’t trying to be a luxury resort, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s the kind of place where you can have a proper Turkish breakfast by the pool, spend your day exploring Roman ruins or hiking mountain trails, then come back for a sunset swim without feeling like you need to dress up for dinner. The 8.3 rating makes sense – it delivers on what it promises without the pretense, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Reviews of Antalya Villa Esiyok with heated pool
Elena from Germany – 10 January 2025 (7/10)
We had a great family celebration with 8 people in the villa! The location was excellent for us (of course with a car). Very beautiful mountains and sea view. The pool was heated and very nice even in winter. The living room is very nicely furnished and new. Just the bedrooms were not very modern, and the bed linens were not new. Except that and few minor issues with blinking lights, the villa has a great price-value.
Lindsay from United Kingdom – 26 September 2024 (9/10)
Excellent host, communicated really well. Very clear directions and check-in instructions and responded quickly to any messages and questions we had before and during our stay.
Great views and lots of useful extras provided for a self catering apartment (e.g. soap dispensers, toilet roll, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc.) all little things, but things that you miss if you do not have and can add up if you need to purchase all when you get there.
What could be improved: Not a negative as we were expecting it, but a car is definitely needed – you don't get the views if you aren't a little remote!
It was not as secluded as we were expecting from the pictures with another villa next door and houses at the bottom of the garden/drive too (we purposefully usually select places ~1km from anyone else :-))Joshua from Germany – 25 April 2024 (9/10)
