You know what caught me off guard about Apartments Anatolia? I was expecting just another decent apartment hotel in Konyaaltı, but this place actually has some character to it. It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – 556. Sokak – which honestly took me a minute to find the first time, but that’s part of what makes it feel more authentic than those massive resort complexes that dominate the beachfront.

The Beyza Apartmanı building itself has that solid, unpretentious feel you get with well-maintained Turkish apartment buildings. Nothing flashy, but everything works properly, which I mean, that’s half the battle right there. The apartments are genuinely spacious – like, you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep that homey apartment vibe while still giving you proper hotel-level cleanliness and service. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just for show, which comes in handy when you want to grab some fresh tomatoes and cheese from the local market instead of eating out every meal.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Konyaaltı Beach – maybe 10-15 minutes depending on your pace – but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of the coastal road traffic. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals going about their daily business, kids playing in the small parks, that sort of thing. There’s a decent bakery just around the corner that does proper Turkish breakfast spreads, and honestly, the smell of fresh simit in the morning beats any hotel breakfast buffet. You’re also surprisingly well-connected to the old town area – catching a dolmuş from the main road is easy enough, and if you’re feeling adventurous, the walk along the coast toward Kaleiçi is actually pretty lovely, especially in the early evening when the light hits the Taurus Mountains just right. The only thing I’d mention is that parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season, but the staff usually has some local intel on where to find spots nearby.

  Location, HUGE terrace. Enough room. Good host.
  
  What could be improved: Strange wet smell from bathroom, similar to smell of local "river". Broken bedroom lamp – but host brought us table lamp as replacement. No table for eating inside apartment, but we managed to bring inside table from terrace, so minor problem. No table knives among kitchen facilities, maybe this is not custom for Turkie.
