You know what caught me off guard about Aspendos Suites? I was expecting another generic apart-hotel, but this place actually has some character to it. It’s tucked away on 413. Sokak in the Altınkum neighborhood – not exactly where the tour buses dump everyone, which honestly works in your favor. The building itself isn’t going to win any architecture awards, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it that I actually appreciated after dealing with all the flashy resort complexes further down the coast.

The location is genuinely smart if you know Antalya at all. You’re close enough to Konyaaltı Beach that you can walk there without breaking a sweat (maybe 10-12 minutes), but far enough inland that you’re not paying beach-front prices for everything. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a little bakery around the corner where locals actually go, and I mean, the smell of fresh simit in the morning beats hotel breakfast pastries any day. The suites themselves are… well, they’re apartment-style, so you get a proper kitchen and some space to spread out. Nothing fancy, but the appliances work and there’s enough counter space to actually use them. I appreciated having a fridge that could fit more than just minibar bottles – especially useful when you discover that amazing fruit market about fifteen minutes away on foot.

Here’s the thing though – and I wish someone had told me this beforehand – the soundproofing isn’t amazing. It’s not terrible, but you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re watching TV late or having animated conversations on their balconies. The building gets pretty quiet after 10 PM most nights, so it’s not a huge issue unless you’re an extremely light sleeper. Check-in was surprisingly smooth actually, though the front desk staff’s English varies depending on who’s working. The 7.7 rating feels about right to me – it’s solid, does what it promises, but doesn’t go above and beyond. What I really liked was how the place felt more like staying in a local apartment than a tourist hotel. You’re sharing elevator space with Turkish families and business travelers, not just other tourists trying to figure out their excursion schedules. The cleaning service comes every few days rather than daily, which some people might not love, but I actually preferred the privacy. Plus, there’s something to be said for a place where you can cook your own meals when you need a break from restaurant food, and the kitchen setup here actually makes that possible rather than just theoretical.

  During the winter season, it's maybe the best place around, inexpensive prices here and in the nearby markets, and no much nightlife in the bars and restaurants nearby. It wouldn't be so quiet in summer time.
  
  What could be improved: The most serious problem was occasional blackouts in local area; luckily, they were no longer than 15-30 min. In the future, the electricity network in this district should be improved.

  Very nice small hotel located in a pretty quite area close (10 min walk) to the beach. The room is clean and well maintained.
  For breakfast we were offered vouchers for one of the cafes nearby, the breakfasts were magnificent – definitely recommend getting them!
  Beside that cafe, there are a lot of places to eat/go around the hotel.
  
  What could be improved: We had minor issues with shower in the bathroom – showerhead couldn't be hanged on the wall properly because hanger was broken and the shower pipe was not secured to the wall so we got the impression that it's going to fall off.

  It was a well designed 1 bedroom apartment very close to the beach. It was hot outside but AC was working properly. Couldn't expect anything less.
  
  What could be improved: Checkout could have been more smooth. We got an issue and we couldn't track time, no one informed us for delay in checkout and later charged 10 Euro for the delayed checkout which could have been avoided.

  Good small hotel in perfect location – only 3 minutes from the sea.
  The price is very affordable.
  
  What could be improved: The only issue I had – horrible noise insulation. I've heard every chair movement and every talk upstairs and on the street. Hopefully it can be improved.

  Good location, but the street is quiet, almost no traffic during night time. It's possible to order a breakfast from Shakespeare restaurant, but I preferred to buy food in Migros and prepare by myself: all kitchen inventory, stove and microwave are good and ready to use. Very good and stable Internet connection, about 20 Mbit/s, which was broken only once during district blackout (unfortunately, it happens).
  
  What could be improved: The main problem is, the hotel doesn't have a strict no-smoking policy. It were several days when my neighbours smoke too much, even at night, it was quite discomfortable. Happily, they departed in a few days. I'd suggest to improve either non-smoking measures or the ventilation in the rooms.

  The staff are very friendly and pleasant – thank you! Apartments have everything you could possibly need. Kitchen is well equipped. I also enjoyed the location, close to the sea and supermarkets, green.
  
  What could be improved: Cleaning was supposed to happen every 3 days, but I realize that it took place only once during our 8 night stay

  This is our second time coming. Lovely friendly staff. Possible minor issues are resolved instantly. We arrived early at 11 o'clock and were checked in earlier – the apartment was ready and no one asked for extra payment. . Good location close to the gorgeous promenade and beach.
  
  What could be improved: no coffee maker in the kitchen. I don't think it's expensive. The electricity goes out periodically – but this is probably a problem for all hotels in the area. There is a specific smell in the basement apartments – you need to ventilate them periodically.

  The location is great, 5 min from the beach, next to plenty of restaurants. The room has everything you need including a kitchen, a kettle, dishes, a washing machine. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The room gets cleaned every 3 or 4 days. In general, pretty good value for money compared to other alternatives in this area.
  
  What could be improved: The water from the shower was leaking just a little bit into the bathroom, but it was not a problem at all. The towels were not always ideally clean, but were quickly replaced by the staff with clean ones.
