Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to BE BOLD HOSTEL on 1291. Sokak, I almost missed it entirely. It’s tucked into this residential building in what locals call the old town area, and there’s no flashy sign screaming “HOTEL HERE!” But you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. The entrance is on the first floor (that’s daire:1 for you non-Turkish speakers), and once you’re inside, it hits you – this place is different.

The whole vibe is deliberately unconventional, which I guess explains why they don’t bother with the traditional star rating system. I mean, how do you rate a place that feels more like staying at your artsy friend’s apartment than a typical hotel? The decor is this mix of industrial-meets-cozy that somehow works perfectly – exposed brick here, vintage furniture there, and these little design touches that make you want to Instagram everything (but not in an obnoxious way). The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a place calling itself a hostel. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you spend a night here – it’s one of those spots where every detail feels intentional.

What really sets this place apart is the location, though. You’re right in the heart of Antalya’s Kaleiçi district, which means you can stumble out the door and be at Hadrian’s Gate in maybe three minutes. The narrow cobblestone streets can be a bit tricky to navigate with luggage – fair warning – but once you’re settled, you’re walking distance from everything that matters. The harbor is close enough that you can hear the boats early in the morning (not loud, just… present), and there are these little family-run restaurants tucked into the surrounding streets that tourists usually miss. The staff actually knows which ones are worth trying, which saved me from some questionable dining choices. Parking is basically non-existent on the street itself, but there’s a public lot about five minutes away if you’re driving. Most people don’t need a car here anyway – the tram stops aren’t far, and the old town is perfectly walkable. Just be prepared for some uphill walks because, well, it’s built on ancient foundations and nothing is exactly level. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and they seem to genuinely care about making sure you know your way around the neighborhood rather than just handing you a key and disappearing.

  The bed was super comfy. The staff is very welcoming. They have various activities planned out to get to know other solo travellers. I will definitely revisit again.

  Everything except for what I didn’t like. The hostel was very very good.
  
  What could be improved: Guests were allowed to hang out till late night in the courtyard, so if you want to sleep early, you might have noise problem. I was unfortunate, but one of the guests came back very drunk and went to the restroom to vomit a couple of times. That was noisy and kinda gross. Not the hostel’s fault, though.

  I can just recommend this place it is really beautiful from the inside and out. It has the best team who made my stay unforgettable. I felt welcome the moment I arrived They plan really cool activities and it's just fun to hang out with them. The Hostle has beautiful rooms a very cozy garden and a big kitchen with everything you need and it's very clean. On top of all the location is perfect in the center. It is one of the best Hostles I have ever stayed in and I am looking forward to coming back 💕

  Be Bold Hostel is everything you could want in a hostel. The location is perfect, the space is super clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The staff and volunteers are amazing—always helpful and creating a great vibe.
  
  What really makes this place stand out is the community. There are activities every day, making it easy to meet interesting people and share new experiences. I had some incredible conversations, learned new things, and left with great memories.
  
  If you're looking for a social, well-run, and comfortable place to stay in Antalya, this is it. Highly recommend!
