Behram Hotel Overview
You know what struck me first about Behram Hotel? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Konyaaltı where you’d never expect to find a hotel – honestly, I walked past it twice before spotting the subtle signage. The whole place feels like someone’s stylish uncle decided to open a boutique guesthouse and actually knew what they were doing.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Antalya like a local rather than being stuck in the tourist bubble. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Konyaaltı Beach (the good part, not the overly crowded section near the shopping center), and there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner on Arapsuyu that does incredible börek in the mornings. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel – you’ll hear Turkish families going about their day, kids playing in the small park nearby, and honestly, it’s refreshing after all those sterile resort areas.
What I really appreciated was how the owners – and I’m pretty sure they’re actually involved in the day-to-day operations – have created something that feels authentic without trying too hard. The decor has this understated elegance, sort of modern Turkish meets Mediterranean, and the rooms are genuinely comfortable rather than just Instagram-pretty. My shower had proper water pressure (you’d be surprised how rare that is in boutique places), and the air conditioning actually worked quietly, which was crucial during those sweltering July afternoons. The WiFi was solid too, though I mean, you’re in Turkey – just embrace the slower pace, you know?
I’ll be honest, the 7.9 rating makes sense because it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or over-the-top service. But that’s kind of the point – it’s unpretentious and well-executed. The breakfast was simple but used quality local ingredients, and when I needed restaurant recommendations, the staff knew places that weren’t just tourist traps. They pointed me toward this incredible fish place down by the old harbor that I never would have found otherwise.
The only minor thing is that if you’re not comfortable with a bit of street noise in the early morning – delivery trucks, the occasional motorbike – you might want to request a room facing the interior courtyard. But honestly, it’s part of the charm of staying in an actual neighborhood rather than some isolated resort compound. Plus, you’re a quick dolmuş ride to the old town, and the tram line isn’t far if you want to explore further along the coast. Just don’t expect luxury resort amenities – there’s no pool or spa or anything like that. This is about location, comfort, and experiencing Antalya from a more authentic base.

Reviews of Behram Hotel
Nailya from Russia – 10 May 2025 (9/10)
Very good location, close to clean public beach and local restaraunts and cafes. Help available staff. The room is modest but clean and quite, everything works.
Constantin from Germany – 18 April 2025 (8/10)
Good location, parking everywhere easily possible. Staff is very friendly, and everything went smoothly.
What could be improved: The entrance has a strange smell, but the room is fine. There’s slight mold in the bathroom, but still okayish. You can see and hear the neighbour in the bathroom showering (only their head) through a vent. You can close this vent, so that they can’t see you and vice versa, but you can still hear them. So keep your bathroom door closed for silenceSimon from United Kingdom – 18 January 2025 (8/10)
One Member of Staff who spoke English was helpful and arranged a hire car and transfer to the airport. It's cost effective, and has the things that were required. The shower was very hot, the air con worked as it was cold at night. The location was quiet, although it was out of high season and a 5 min walk to the beach.
What could be improved: The beds were very hard, no duvet, it was thin blankets although you can use the air con. Some of the Staff ignore you, although that might be a language barrierCorina from Romania – 16 December 2024 (9/10)
I really liked this place. Very good breakfast. Cute room, even though a little small, but we had everything we needed – a terrace, a bathroom, a comfortable bed.
What could be improved: The pool is really dirty. We didn't had the chance to take a bath in it.Alexander from Finland – 18 November 2024 (8/10)
The staff is polite and nice. The breakfast is quite reasonable. The room was quiet and had a small but functional balcony. NO TOBACCO SMOKE. The location is 5 min away from a nice beach, there are nice places with street food nearby as well. There are some fishes in the lobby area.
What could be improved: The shower/toilet were tiny and barely enough to fit a person. The room was quite cold at night, AC had a function to warm the air, but some insulation would have been nice. The WiFi quality was hit and miss, sometimes it would randomly disconnect during calls. There are no elevators so make sure to not have heavy luggage.Sonja from South Africa – 20 October 2024 (8/10)
Very friendly staff. Very happy for us to bring snacks and lounge around the pool. Delicious breakfast every morning

the location is great, 7-8 minutes walk to the Konyalti beach. The breakfast was delicious, but the best thing about this hotel was the super friendly staff! they are very helpful, kind and there's no difficulty in communicating with them in English.
What could be improved: there is no safe box in the room, though you can leave your precious stuff at the reception. over all I enjoyed my stay .Nourtove from Saudi Arabia – 1 August 2024 (9/10)
