Bonnie City Hotel Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Bonnie City Hotel on 45th Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s tucked into this residential area that most tourists never see, about a 15-minute walk from the old marina (which, trust me, is way better than being right in the thick of all that harbor chaos). The building itself has this understated charm – no flashy lobby or marble everything, just clean lines and this warm, almost home-like feeling that hits you the moment you step inside.
What really got me was how the staff actually remembered my name after the first day. I mean, this isn’t some massive chain where you’re just room 237, you know? The owner – I think his name was Mehmet – genuinely seemed to care about whether I’d found that little bakery he recommended around the corner on Barbaros Boulevard. And honestly, that bakery tip alone was worth the stay. The hotel itself feels more like staying at a really well-designed friend’s place than your typical tourist accommodation. The rooms are thoughtfully put together without being precious about it, and there’s this attention to local touches that you don’t usually see – handwoven textiles that actually look like they came from somewhere nearby, not some generic supplier.
The neighborhood is what really sealed it for me, though. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions (the old town is maybe 20 minutes on foot if you don’t mind a bit of uphill), but you’re also in this authentic slice of Antalya where people are just living their lives. There’s a family-run restaurant two blocks down that serves the best pide I had during my entire trip – the kind of place you’d never find if you stayed in the hotel zone. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s a residential street, but the hotel sorted that out without me even asking. One small thing – if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe mention it when you book because the morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque starts pretty early, but honestly, after a couple days it becomes part of the charm. The whole experience just felt real, if that makes sense. You get that 8.3 rating not because everything is perfect and polished, but because someone clearly thought about what would make travelers feel welcomed rather than just accommodated.

The receptionists were helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast.
What could be improved: The bathroom has a drainage smell, and the hotel area feels unsafe for walking at night. They do not have duvets; however, they are providing blankets.Meliza from Philippines – 19 December 2024 (8/10)
Great staff, nice location as it is close to a grocery and hammam place.
What could be improved: – i wish they have a co.forter because i went in winter and its freezing cold despite puting aircon to 30 degrees.
-and they are cleaning room late, so when i went back about 3.30pm , tired from excursion , i wanted to sleep but was very disappointed to see that it hasnt been cleaned yet and needs to wait longer to call them and have them clean my roomArash from Iran – 8 December 2024 (9/10)
I had a great stay at this hotel. It's near the old town area which is a plus. The property is newly built, clean, and very peaceful at night. The front desk staff, Babak and Ahmet, were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Hotel is in very good location. Just 5 minutes walk to the Old City. All sorts of shops, small cafes, bakery shops, kebab vendors and everything you might need are minutes walk in any direction and at the same time in very quiet, residential area hidden from heavy traffic. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful with good conduct of english language.
WiFi is free of charge with excellent reception and speed throughout the whole facility including the rooms.
Rooms are not very big but very comfortable and clean. The feature l loved are big dispensers of shower gel, hair conditioner, shampoo and soap in the bathroom. You will also get your own toothbrush and tootpaste.
Overall, l am very happy with the service and my stay in the Bonnie City Hotel and l will defenetely come back and hopefully soon.
Keep on good job everyone!!
What could be improved: I can't say that there is something l didn't liked but l there are few things which could be improved a bit.
Breakfast is good in the terms of amount of food but it is bit boring to have same items every day. I hope that chief(s) will add a bit of imagination to their breakfast menu in the future and turn it from average to excellent.
