Cedrus Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Cedrus Hotel feels like discovering a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Kaleici — and honestly, that’s exactly what it is. This four-star boutique property sits on a quiet side street where you can actually hear the birds chirping instead of traffic noise, which is pretty remarkable for central Antalya. The building itself has that authentic Turkish charm without feeling overly touristy, and the staff greets you like they’re genuinely happy you chose their place over the dozens of other options in the old town.
Location Magic
You know what really struck me about this location? It’s that perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the chaos. The narrow cobblestone streets of Kaleici are literally at your doorstep — I mean, you can wander to Hadrian’s Gate in about three minutes, and the harbor with all its restaurants and boat trips is maybe a five-minute stroll. But here’s the thing couples seem to love most (and I get why they rate it so highly): you can slip back to the hotel for a quiet moment whenever the old town gets too crowded, especially during those peak afternoon hours when the tour groups descend.
The Room Experience
My room had this lovely blend of modern comfort and traditional Turkish touches — nothing too fancy, but everything felt thoughtfully chosen. The air conditioning actually works well (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in summer), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains, decent water pressure in the shower, and — this might sound small — but the WiFi actually reaches every corner of the room without cutting out every ten minutes.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is one of those continental spreads that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, but does what it does really well. They’ve got fresh Turkish bread, local cheeses, olives, and honey that tastes like it came from somewhere nearby rather than a industrial supplier. The fact that they offer halal options shows they’re thinking about their diverse guest mix, which I found refreshing. I actually found myself looking forward to breakfast each morning — not something I can say about every hotel I’ve stayed at.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several days here, I totally understand why this place consistently gets such high ratings. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Antalya, but it nails the fundamentals that actually matter when you’re traveling. The location score of 9.7 isn’t just a number — it reflects how rare it is to find a place where you can walk to ancient ruins, great restaurants, and the Mediterranean coast without dealing with traffic or long distances. Plus, there’s something to be said for a hotel where the staff remembers your name by day two and can give you actual local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the nearest tourist trap.

Reviews of Cedrus Hotel
Sophia from United Kingdom – 15 March 2025 (8/10)
I like the way the hotel feels like a traditional place. It is very beautiful and the staffs are very helpful. It is in the middle part of Kaleici and a few minutes walk, you will arrive in the beach. Outside of the hotel, you can choose different restaurants which is a good thing. Felt comfortable in this place as the facility is very nice and I like the shower area. Will definitely recommend this place.
What could be improved: The walls are thin and you can hear the noises from other rooms.Heli from Finland – 19 February 2025 (9/10)
A lovely hotel in the middle of old town. The owner was super helpful and nice. Reasonably priced. Perfect location. Will come again!
Adi from Malaysia – 2 January 2025 (9/10)
Centrally located within the old town. We booked the apartment (located on a different building approx 100m away), comes with 3 bedrooms, a hall, spacious living room, great kitchen + washing machine. Great traditional breakfast served at the main building. Me Levent is a kind host and very helpful.
What could be improved: Nothing. The staircases may not be suitable for elderly people.Clare from United Kingdom – 29 November 2024 (9/10)

Well located, nice and clean house.
Breakfast was excellent
What could be improved: It was a bit odd that I was not allowed to have breakfast on the terrace. It was just me down for breakfast and I was told that terrace was for other bigger groups. But I was alone and it was really sad I could not sit outside 🙁
