Citrus Park Hotel Overview
So I’ve stayed at the Citrus Park Hotel a few times now, and honestly, it’s one of those places that grows on you. It sits on this quiet residential street in Arapsuyu – you know, that neighborhood that’s actually walkable to Konyaaltı Beach but doesn’t have the tourist circus going on 24/7. The first time I pulled up, I’ll admit I was a bit confused because it looks more like a modern apartment building than what you’d picture as a hotel, but that’s actually part of its charm.
The thing about this place is that it feels refreshingly normal, if that makes sense. Like, you’re not dealing with marble lobbies and staff hovering around asking if you need anything every five minutes. The front desk folks are genuinely helpful – they’ll actually draw you a little map to the good pide place around the corner instead of just pointing you toward the overpriced hotel restaurant. And speaking of location, you’re maybe a 15-minute walk to the beach, but more importantly, you’re right in the middle of where people actually live. There’s a little market practically next door where you can grab water and snacks without paying hotel prices, and the neighborhood has that authentic Turkish residential vibe – kids playing in the streets in the evening, older guys playing backgammon at the corner café.
The rooms themselves are clean and modern, though I mean, it’s a solid 4-star, not luxury. The beds are comfortable enough, and the air conditioning actually works (which, trust me, matters in July). What I really appreciate is that the windows open – sounds simple, but you’d be surprised how many newer hotels have those sealed windows. You can hear a bit of street life, but it’s not party noise, just the normal sounds of a neighborhood winding down. The bathrooms are updated and the water pressure is decent, though the hot water takes a minute to kick in. One quirky thing – the elevators are tiny, so if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, you might be making multiple trips.
You know what really sold me on this place? The breakfast situation. It’s not some massive buffet with food sitting under heat lamps, but they do a proper Turkish breakfast spread – fresh bread, local cheeses, olives, tomatoes that actually taste like something, and good strong tea. You eat it on this little terrace area, and you can see slice of the Mediterranean between the buildings. The staff remembers how you like your eggs after a couple days, which is a nice touch. The 7.2 rating seems about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does everything well without any major headaches. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like staying in a Turkish neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, and you don’t need a pool or spa services, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

Reviews of Citrus Park Hotel

Great location, 1 minute walk from the beach. Staff were very helpful, especially Ismail. The apartment we had was very spacious and was comfortable.
What could be improved: Could have been more choice at breakfast.Derlimurr from Germany – 15 August 2024 (8/10)
The hotel is nice and clean. There is a tasty restaurant inside, so you can have lunch and/or dinner there. The hotel is located in 100 meters from a great public beach, which is by far not the most crowded that I've seen, so we were always comfortable and always had plenty of space to ourselves there. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.
What could be improved: Not the best and greatest choice of food for breakfast, the coffee machine was often broken and always poured hot water instead of hot chocolate. If you turn off the A/C, you need to call the reception and ask them to turn it back on, you can't do it yourself. Both times that we ate at the restaurant, one of our ordered food was forgotten and we needed to remind them what we ordered. Some items in the room were not perfectly clean, some stains were seen.
Overall I'd say it's definitely not a 4 star hotel, 3 at most.Yunus from United Kingdom – 5 August 2023 (6/10)

– We could check in earlier than given time. Thanks Citrus Park Hotel.
– friendly staff
– great location. 5 mintues walking distance to the beach. Also at night we could go for a walk along the beach where there are many Restaurants and bars.
What could be improved: – The internet was bad.
– the staff couldn't speak English many times. Especially the shift after 6 pm.
– the promissed lunch packet was not ready. I guess it was lack of proper communication between staff.Dmitry from Russia – 27 February 2023 (8/10)

What could be improved: Just add more food for breakfastSabir from United Kingdom – 30 August 2022 (7/10)
A day before arrival, the hotel rang and I confirmed as per booking. On arrival I was told that 2 of the 3 rooms booked by us were given to others. The night Manager said this was a regular problem with hotel owner allocating rooms to others without due regard to bookings. After midnight they arranged 2 rooms at another hotel for one night,. The following day we are allocated another room and one room at nearby hotel. This caused lot of upset and incovinience.
What could be improved: Hotel does not adhere to booking system.Staff at reception and office did not speak English . First 2 days were wasted.Michelle at The adjacent sorted our issues.Sabir from United Kingdom – 11 August 2022 (7/10)
Breakfast poor
What could be improved: Confirmed booking was allocated to others. Of the 3 rooms booked only 1 was available.Part of family were allocated to other hotelDavid from Australia – 16 July 2022 (7/10)
Clean and comfortable. Good value.
What could be improved: Hair dryer was a very cheap quality, stopping all the time.
