You know what struck me first about the Crowne Plaza Antalya? It’s how they managed to nail that sweet spot right on Akdeniz Bulvari where you’re literally steps from Konyaalti Beach but not drowning in the chaos that usually comes with beachfront hotels. I mean, you walk out the front doors and there’s this wide promenade perfect for morning runs – though honestly, you’ll probably be too distracted by the Taurus Mountains rising up behind the city like some dramatic backdrop.

The thing about this place is it feels properly Turkish without trying too hard, if that makes sense. The lobby has this warm marble that doesn’t scream “generic luxury hotel,” and the staff actually seems to know the neighborhood – they’ll point you toward the little tea gardens tucked away on 306th Street instead of just the obvious tourist traps. What I really appreciated was how quiet my room stayed despite being on a main boulevard. You get these floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Mediterranean, and at sunset the whole sea turns this incredible amber color that makes you understand why people have been fighting over this coastline for centuries. The beds are those proper firm-but-not-hard IHG standards, and there’s actually enough outlets near the nightstand (small victories, right?).

Here’s what sold me on the location though – you’re a five-minute walk from the cable car that takes you up to Tünektepe, where you get these insane panoramic views of the entire Gulf of Antalya. Most tourists miss this completely because they’re stuck in Kaleiçi taking the same old photos. The hotel’s breakfast spread is honestly better than it needs to be, with proper Turkish cheeses and that flaky börek pastry alongside the international stuff. And parking? Actually not a nightmare, which anyone who’s driven in Turkish coastal cities will tell you is basically a miracle. The pool area gets busy around 11 AM when the sun hits it just right, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself with just the sound of waves hitting the pebble beach below. Look, it’s not perfect – the 7.7 rating tells you it’s solid without being spectacular – but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. A place that does the fundamentals really well without any pretense, right where Antalya starts to feel like the Mediterranean paradise it’s supposed to be.

  The property was nice and the staff was amazing. Also a great location and nice pool. Rima and Ali in the front desk were so helpful and accommodating. Muhammet and Mustafa were also great!
  
  What could be improved: The rooms were a bit outdated and ladies, the blow dryer situation was bad. You have to hold it down to use and it’s just bad so bring your own!

  From arrival to departure everything was excellent, staff, facilities, room ( so well cleaned ) ok a bit old furniture wise but perfectly good, breakfast excellent choice and standard, pool facilities and location for beach superb, staff friendly whilst keeping a professional aura. Thank You .
  
  What could be improved: Hotel very peaceful, only thing I would say is the live music from the beach cafe opposite was just a bit to loud late at night. Small point only negative thing I would say.

  The location is amazing with a good accessibility to beach and restaurants. Friendly staffs, spacious rooms, nice ambience, excellent swimming pool and cleanliness were great. It was a pleasant stay and a wonderful experience
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast had limited varieties. The bread quality was not that great and always smelled yeast. We saw many people wasting breads which the hotel authorities should notice and take measures.
