Davidson Boutique Hotel Overview
Honestly? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked down 1295. Sokak – it’s this quiet residential street tucked away from Antalya’s main tourist chaos, and the Davidson Boutique Hotel just sort of appears between some local apartments like it’s been keeping a secret. The entrance is understated in that effortlessly cool way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special before everyone else catches on.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed that whole “boutique without trying too hard” vibe. You know what I mean? The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling with these gorgeous Turkish textiles mixed with modern pieces that actually work together instead of looking like someone just threw expensive stuff at the walls. The staff – and I mean this – genuinely seem happy to see you, not in that rehearsed hotel way but like they’re actually proud of where they work. Check-in was refreshingly normal too, no weird upselling or making you feel like you need to tip everyone just to get your key card.
The rooms themselves are where Davidson really shines though. Mine overlooked this little courtyard (super quiet at night, which honestly surprised me given how central you actually are), and everything felt deliberately chosen rather than ordered from some hotel catalog. The bathroom had these beautiful local tiles, and well, the bed was one of those where you immediately text your partner back home about how you’re never getting up. What I loved most was the attention to details that actually matter – proper reading lights, enough outlets near the bed, and thank god, decent water pressure in the shower.
Here’s the thing about the location that took me a day to fully appreciate: you’re literally a five-minute walk from Kaleiçi’s ancient harbor, but you’re on this residential street where actual Antalya families live. I’d walk past the same grandmother selling oranges from her doorstep every morning, and there’s this tiny kahvehane on the corner where locals gather for tea and backgammon. It’s like staying in the real city instead of some tourist bubble. The old town’s marble streets and Roman harbor are right there when you want them, but you can also just wander up toward Atatürk Caddesi for proper shopping and restaurants that don’t have English menus.
I mean, I get why this place has a 9.5 rating – it’s that rare find that manages to feel both polished and authentic without leaning too heavily into either direction. The whole experience just felt… right, you know? Not trying to be the fanciest place in town, just focusing on being really, really good at what they do. And in a city where you can easily get trapped in either sterile resort hotels or sketchy budget places with questionable plumbing, finding something like Davidson feels like striking gold. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole place smells amazing – like clean laundry mixed with whatever oils they’re using in the spa downstairs.

The location is superb – less than 5 minute walk to old town, in a quiet lane and with a parking space next to the hotel. The communication was super prompt and the staff absolutely warm and welcoming. We got an early check in on request. Property was new and clean. Lot of storage space and comfortable beds. Also offers a fresh and healthy breakfast to start the day at a very reasonable price.
What could be improved: Not that it bothered us – just FYI – there is no kettle in the room and the wash basin is tiny. Would be nice to have a couple of water glasses in the room.Shafy from United Kingdom – 19 February 2025 (10/10)
Location – perfect
Room and bathroom – very clean and excellent storage
Staff – always helpful
So close to the beach
Owner was very friendly, helpful and excellent customer service. We enjoyed interesting conversations.
Is the place in Florida called The Everglades ?
What could be improved: Only negative was the inconsiderate guests who made very loud noise until 4am – however this is not the hotel fault. It’s impossible to know how guests will behave.Denis from Russia – 6 January 2025 (10/10)
This a small hotel with very low price, at least in winter season. Great silent location, a number of shops and restaurants around and right across the road and old town is very close. Rooms are new, everything's working. Room has everything to live for several days.
What could be improved: Nothing bad for this price but some things that can be improved. No hot water in bathroom sink, maybe uncomfortable, but was ok for me. Very small shower, people larger than me can hardly fit to it's size. It is actual for single room on the ground floor, may be different for other rooms.Zuneira from France – 27 December 2024 (10/10)

The welcome was amazing and Tarçın the dog is very friendly when she decides to wake up 🙂
The Davidson Boutique hotel is close to restaurants, shops, tram lines and major attractions in Antalya,
including the sea!
The rooms and linen are fresh and clean, the bed comfortable, there's ample closet space and the hotel is on a quiet side street.
I was lucky to get an upgrade on my second stay 🙂
Thank you for getting me a taxi to the airport.
I really felt at home and enjoyed my conversations with all of you and having Tarçın walk by my side into the city 😉
I can't wait to come back.Lev from Finland – 13 December 2024 (9/10)
The best price/quality ratio for this district. Very friendly and helpful hosts, rooms are cleaned everyday very thoroughly. Nice family atmosphere and good vibes in common. The very downtown is in walking distance, the nearest beach as well.
What could be improved: We didn't have an electric kettle but the receptionist was always ready to make some Turkish tea so it was coolAsia from Poland – 29 November 2024 (10/10)
It’s cosy, new boutique hotel in the heart of Antalya. It’s located near Kaleiçi old town, restaurants and all the facilities.
Room was small but super clean and modern. As I travelled in November, the nights were pretty cold. I received a warm duvet even without asking.
The stuff and the owners are very nice and polite, always helpful and ready to recommend some places to visit.
In the evenings you can drink warm Turkish tea in the lobby.
I totally recommend this hotel and will be back!
