I mean, most people are hunting for those big chain hotels with flashy lobbies, but this place sits quietly in a restored Ottoman house that feels like someone’s stylish aunt decided to open her doors to travelers.

The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the old town’s maze-like streets. You’re literally inside Antalya’s historic quarter, so those ancient Roman walls and the harbor are just a few minutes’ walk away. Civelek Sokak itself is pretty peaceful – you’ll hear the occasional scooter puttering by and maybe some conversations drifting from nearby restaurants, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up. What I loved is that you can slip out in the morning and grab Turkish tea from one of those tiny places locals frequent on Barbaros Mahallesi, then wander down to the marina before the tour groups arrive. The whole Muratpaşa district has this lived-in feel that a lot of restored old towns lose, you know?

Inside, they’ve done this interesting thing where they kept the building’s character – think stone archways and wooden details – but added modern touches without going overboard. The rooms vary quite a bit since it’s an old house, so some are cozy (meaning smaller) while others are surprisingly spacious. I actually appreciated that they didn’t try to squeeze a star rating out of the tourism board; it lets them do their own thing instead of checking boxes for amenities nobody really uses. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that wins you over gradually rather than wowing you immediately. Small details matter here: they actually know the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. Parking can be tricky in the old town (honestly, just plan to walk everywhere), but they’ll help you figure it out. The whole experience feels more like staying with knowledgeable locals than checking into a hotel, which is exactly what some travelers are looking for when they want to actually experience Antalya instead of just passing through it.

  Lovely hotel in a perfect location in the old town. Very comfortable bed and spacious room.
  Breakfast in a restaurant a short walk up the road was a superb buffett with friendly staff.

  What could be improved: We were in a ground floor room overlooking the pool. This was nice, but unfortunately, on a couple of nights during our stay, some people with very loud voices were sitting outside drinking until 2.00 a m.

  Well decorated and nice hotel. Not noisy in the night hours. The staff was so helpful. My room was changed by my request without complications. It was a pleasant stay.

  Perfect location in Old Town. Lots of great restaurants nearby. There is a private pool in the back of the hotel that wasn't used by other guests so we had a nice swim to ourselves. The room was traditional and had air conditioning. Overall great value.
  
  What could be improved: The shower did not have very good water pressure and was more of a drip. The bed was very firm. The air conditioning was not simple to adjust, so it was either on or off with a huge difference in temperatures.
