You know what’s funny about Delight Deluxe? The name makes it sound like some massive resort chain, but it’s actually this charming little boutique place tucked away on Hesapcı Geçidi Sokak – and I mean really tucked away. You’ll probably walk past it twice before you spot the entrance, which honestly adds to the whole discovery feeling. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the heart of Kaleici’s old town without dealing with the chaos of the main tourist drags. You’re literally surrounded by those gorgeous Ottoman-era houses with their wooden balconies, and the cobblestone streets here are the real deal, not some tourist recreation.

The hotel itself has this sort of… well, it’s hard to describe because it doesn’t fit into the usual star rating system (they don’t even bother with official stars), but that’s actually part of its charm. The rooms have character – some might call the decor a bit eclectic, mixing traditional Turkish elements with more modern touches that don’t always perfectly match, but somehow it works. I stayed in one of their spa rooms and honestly, the bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve been in. The spa facilities are surprisingly good for a smaller property, though don’t expect a massive wellness center. It’s more intimate, which some people love and others might find limiting.

What really sets this place apart is how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – they told me which restaurants the locals go to (there’s this amazing little meyhane just two streets over that you’d never find on your own) and even mentioned which nights get crazy loud with street music so I could plan accordingly. The breakfast isn’t anything revolutionary, but they do it well with lots of local touches, and you can eat it in this lovely courtyard area that feels like you’re in someone’s private garden. Parking can be tricky since you’re in the old town – they’ll help arrange something, but just know you might be walking a few minutes with your luggage. The 7.4 rating feels about right; it’s not luxury in the conventional sense, but if you appreciate character over perfection and want to feel like you’re actually staying somewhere with personality rather than a cookie-cutter hotel, you’ll probably love it here. Plus, you’re a five-minute walk from the harbor and all those waterfront restaurants, which is pretty hard to beat in this part of Antalya.

  Location and Customer service was great. Although in description while booking it stated private bathroom with triple budget room, the toilet was outside (external), which I can still get by. However bathroom was not private as I couldn't lock it with a key, so couldn't leave my stuff. Therfore wasn't happy with the private bathroom description, this was raised and the staff was amazing and upgraded us with a room with a private bathroom. Really happy customers.
  
  What could be improved: Loud music which was given as its right next to restaurants and bars. Would be nice to maybe have some noise cancelling windows and blinds.

  What could be improved: We were originally moved to a sister hotel about 10 mins walk away in a busier part of town where a popular restaurant was playing live music each night until quite late – this wasn't so good for sleep.

  What could be improved: Minus issue is the fact that there is no 24/7 reception, had some red ants biting me in my bed on the first night and would have liked to change room on the same night but there wasn’t anyone around. Got moved to a different room at 9 am the day after though – which was clean and well-maintained –
