Plus, you’re walking distance to some seriously good restaurants that aren’t tourist traps. There’s this little place about ten minutes down the road where locals actually eat, and the hotel staff will point you toward spots like that instead of just pushing their own restaurant.

Check-in was smooth, parking is actually available (which, trust me, isn’t always a given in this area), and they seem to understand that adults-only doesn’t just mean “no screaming kids in the pool.” It means creating an atmosphere where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re at a daycare center. The rooms are what you’d expect from a 5-star Marriott, but with these subtle Turkish touches that don’t feel forced or touristy. The bathrooms are honestly spectacular – marble that doesn’t look cheap, and water pressure that’ll wake you up in the morning. One tiny thing though – if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room away from Lara Caddesi. It’s not terrible, but there’s definitely some traffic noise, especially during summer evenings when everyone’s heading out to dinner. The pool area gets pretty lively during peak season too, but in a good way – more sophisticated vacation vibes than spring break madness. Honestly, for an 8.6 rating, this place delivers exactly what it promises, and sometimes that’s all you really want from a vacation.

  What could be improved: The bell boy insisted on taking over my luggage and I assumed it was a part of the hotel hospitality. However, he wouldn’t leave the room until I gave him a tip later. I only had 1 euro as cash which I gave him. He threw sarcastic phrases about my generosity in Turkish, thinking I didn’t understand it. I didn’t want to put effort in discussing this with him. Please take care of this kind of incidents/inappropriate behavior.

  If you choose between this and Akra – this one much more peaceful, everything closer, less people, quite and beautiful. Akra was not peaceful at all but room were better.

  What could be improved: Regardless how many nights someone books, the cleaning should be paramount. The lady cleaner didn't clean the room not even washing the cups and the glass which was disappointing.
