Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Der Inn Lara on İsmet Gökçen Cad, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s tucked into this residential building in Şirinyalı, and from the outside, you’d probably walk right past it without realizing there’s actually a really charming little place inside. But that’s sort of the point, I think – this isn’t your typical Antalya hotel experience, and the owners seem to like it that way.

Once you get inside though, you know what really struck me? The attention to detail that you just don’t see in the big chain places along Lara Beach. Every room feels deliberately put together – not fancy in that overdone way, but thoughtful. I mean, they’ve clearly spent time thinking about what actual travelers need rather than just cramming in amenities for the sake of it. The whole vibe is more like staying at someone’s well-designed apartment than a hotel, which honestly was refreshing after dealing with massive resort lobbies elsewhere in the area. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – being in Şirinyalı means you’re close enough to walk to the beach (maybe 10 minutes if you’re not rushing), but you’re not dealing with the constant noise from Lara’s main strip. The staff actually knows your name after a day or two, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to eat or how to get somewhere.

Here’s the thing about this part of Muratpaşa that most visitors don’t realize – you’re in this sweet spot where locals actually live and work, so the restaurants nearby aren’t just tourist traps, and the little markets stay open late because they’re serving the neighborhood, not just hotels guests. I’d walk out in the morning and grab fresh bread from the bakery two streets over, then come back in the evening and the guy at the corner shop would wave like we’d known each other for years. Der Inn Lara gets that – they’re not trying to keep you locked into their property like some all-inclusive bubble. The whole setup encourages you to actually explore Antalya like someone who lives there, even if it’s just for a few days. Is it perfect? Well, parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods, and if you’re someone who needs a pool or room service, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want something with character that doesn’t feel like every other hotel room you’ve ever stayed in, and you appreciate being treated like a person rather than a booking number, then yeah – I’d definitely come back here.

  LOCATION GOOD BUT ON MAIN ROAD. BREAKFAST PASSIBLE.
  The Manager, Yusuf, was very helpful and attentive.
  
  What could be improved: Although our room had a French balcony it overlooked a busy main road with traffic noise. The bed could have been better.

  What could be improved: Just don't buy included dinner. Looks like they improvise every evening. I think i was the only one who had included dinner, for the drinks they give only free water in a bottle. Dessert was served only once out of 5 days.

  I really enjoyed my stay at Der inn hotel, I asked if I could change my room when I arrived, nothing wrong with it, just wanted a different view, they were happy to change it, no problem. Breakfast was OK, toast wasn't included, so I had to pay for that. Very surprised as the other hotels I've stayed in included toast with breakfast. Be really good if they could include it. I chose half board, the evening meal was nice. I also ordered the burger and chips which was lovely and the avocado salad was really nice. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable.Tea and coffee facilities in the room, topped up daily. Unfortunately I couldn't get the WiFi to work in my room had to go downstairs to to use the Internet. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again at der inn hotel again 😊

  We had a wonderful stay in the hotel, with good breakfast, nice room with balcony, nice service. At the morning I use the sweeming pool – that was so nice! The bathroom maybe a little small, but we did not care. I didn't expect much of this small hotel but the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff incredible. I would any time recommend this hotel.Thank you very much!!
