You know what struck me first about this place? The moment I stepped out of the elevator on the fourth floor, there was this immediate sense of calm – which honestly surprised me given that it’s right on 100 Yıl Bulvarı, one of Antalya’s busier streets. But here’s the thing about the Guven apartment building: it’s positioned just right so you get all the convenience of being downtown without the constant traffic noise echoing through your windows.

The flat itself is genuinely spacious – I mean, actually spacious, not just “spacious for a city apartment.” Three proper bedrooms that don’t feel cramped, and the living area has this modern, clean vibe that somehow doesn’t feel sterile. The owners clearly put thought into the layout; there’s natural light streaming in from multiple directions, and you can actually see glimpses of the Mediterranean from the main room if you crane your neck just right. What I really appreciated was how well-equipped the kitchen is – it’s not just for show like in so many vacation rentals. They’ve got proper cookware, which came in handy since the local market on Işıklar Caddesi (just a five-minute walk) has incredible fresh produce that’s almost too good not to cook with.

The location is what really makes this spot special though. You’re literally a ten-minute stroll to Karaalioglu Park, which connects to the old town and those stunning clifftop views everyone posts on Instagram. But here’s what the tourist guides don’t tell you – early morning is when that park really shines, before the tour groups arrive. I’d grab Turkish coffee from the little café downstairs (the owner, Mehmet, makes it perfectly) and walk over to watch the sunrise over the harbor. The beach access is solid too, though I’d recommend heading slightly west toward Lara Beach if you want less crowded swimming spots. Parking was surprisingly manageable – there’s usually space on the side streets, and the building’s entrance is set back enough that you’re not fighting for curb space with delivery trucks all day. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the WiFi actually works well throughout the apartment, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those sunset photos. The only minor thing I’d mention is that Turkish buildings can echo a bit, so you might hear your upstairs neighbors occasionally, but it never bothered me enough to lose sleep over it.

  Heel erg schoon. Erg ruim en luxe opgezet. Echt letterlijk overal is aan gedacht. Ook voor de allerkleinste. Zit aan een drukke weg waar je niet veel van mee krijgt en voor ons was dit ideaal om overal in korte tijd te zijn. Bushalte voor de deur tram ca 5 min lopen.
