Dumos Overview

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Kaleiçi, but Dumos is honestly something else entirely. The moment you step through the entrance – which, by the way, you might actually walk past because it’s tucked away so discreetly – you realize this isn’t your typical Antalya boutique hotel. The owner clearly said “forget the star system” and just focused on creating something that feels more like staying at a impossibly stylish friend’s house than a commercial property.

What gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to blend into the old quarter without trying too hard. You know how some hotels in Kaleiçi feel like they’re screaming “look at our Ottoman heritage!” with over-the-top decorations? Dumos actually gets it right. The restoration work respects the original stone walls and architectural details, but then they’ve added these unexpected modern touches that somehow work perfectly. I mean, the bathroom in my room had this incredible rainfall shower that felt almost decadent after spending days wandering the narrow cobblestone streets outside. And speaking of those streets – you’re literally steps away from Hadrian’s Gate, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t hear groups of visitors chatting outside your window at 7 AM.

The staff here operates more like hosts than hotel employees, which sounds cheesy but it’s true. They remember your coffee preference after day one, and they’ll give you directions to places that aren’t in guidebooks – like this tiny restaurant down a side alley where locals actually eat, or the best spot to watch sunset over the harbor without fighting crowds at the marina. Parking can be tricky in this part of Kaleiçi (honestly, it’s tricky everywhere in the old town), but they sorted it out for me without making it feel like a huge production. The breakfast is served until a reasonable hour too, which I appreciated after some late nights exploring Antalya’s surprisingly good cocktail scene. One small thing – the WiFi is solid throughout the property, which isn’t always a given in these historic buildings with thick stone walls. That 9.9 rating makes sense once you’ve been there; it’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  위치가 좋고, 아주 깨끗한 시설에 방이 넓직해서 캐리어 놓고 쓰기 편했습니다! 직원들이 전부 친절했고 예쁜 24시간 수영장도 있어요. 1층 미니바와 냉장고 속 웰컴드링크가 환영받는 느낌을 주었습니다:) 안탈리아에 간다면 다시 방문하고 싶어요

  Очень красиво, уютно, чисто. Прекрасный персонал. Целый день в доступе чай, кофе, йогурт и немного сдобного перекуса. Отель в самом центре. При этом с бассейном)
  
  What could be improved: Прямо у отеля мечеть. Слышно так что мало не покажется) но это не омрачило наш отдых, были готовы.

  Amazing place! I can’t wait to come back. Very clean and tidy, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the location is on point. I felt very safe traveling alone to this hotel. The environment is so peaceful and calm and I felt so relaxed and taken care of during the one week I stayed here.
  
  What could be improved: I have nothing to complain about at all regarding the hotel. The only thing I can add is that Kaleici is a lively place during the evenings, so if you are sensitive for loud noises from the street during the night – staying in the center of Antalya’s old town is nothing I would recommend.

  Excellently built and very good for travellers, on top of it the staff is super kind. The wifi is the fastest I have ever had in all these years of traveling to Kalieci and staying in numerous properties. I think it's faster than my home wifi in Switzerland. The hot water is abundant and great, and the location is stellar.
  
  What could be improved: not really anything, there were a few minor cosmetic issues but the owners have just opened a few months ago and all can be fixed. But the value for what you get is excellent and the staff and owner really are amazing.

  I have visited Antalya 6 times and stayed at many other hotels, this was by far my best experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful, everyone had a beautiful smile on their face the whole time.
  The room was very clean and comfortable, the shower had hot water and excellent pressure.
  The place was designed by an artist the details are very well put together inside and out.
  I specially loved the way they preserved ancient remains in the outer space.
  
  What could be improved: That I didn’t have more time to extend my stay!

  New hotel, beautifully renovated, extremely friendly staff. The drinks in the minibar were free of charge and the towels are very soft and they smelled really nice. Very spacious room and everything was clean. Good location in the centre of Kaleiçi. When it rained the staff provided us with an umbrella without us needing to ask. Very thoughtful!
  
  What could be improved: You could here the noise from the street very clearly in the room. Not a problem for deep sleepers but light sleepers might need earplugs. But it wouldn't keep us from coming back to this hotel because we had a great stay.
