Honestly, I almost walked right past Elanis Suites the first time I was looking for it – it’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Şirin Yalı, right across from the taxi stand like the address says, but it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside. Which, I mean, turned out to be exactly what I loved about it. The whole place has this intimate boutique feel that you just don’t get at those massive resort complexes that dominate most of Antalya’s coastline.

The thing about staying in Muratpaşa is that you’re actually in a real neighborhood, you know? I’d walk out in the mornings and there’d be locals grabbing their coffee, kids heading to school – it felt authentic in a way that tourist areas rarely do. The suites themselves are thoughtfully designed (and I’m usually pretty critical about hotel interiors), with these clean lines and local touches that don’t feel forced. What really got me was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, a coffee setup that goes beyond those terrible instant packets, and honestly, some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve slept on in Turkey. The bathrooms are spacious too, which matters more than you’d think after a long day exploring.

You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to the old harbor area, but here’s what the booking sites don’t tell you – the neighborhood has this perfect balance where you can easily get into central Antalya, but you’re not dealing with the constant tour bus noise and crowds. I found this little family-run restaurant just two blocks over that served the best pide I had during my entire trip, and there’s a small market nearby where you can grab actual groceries instead of overpriced hotel snacks. The staff at Elanis genuinely knows the area well – not just the obvious tourist spots, but places locals actually go. They pointed me toward this seaside walking path that I never would have found on my own, and it became my favorite evening routine. Sure, it’s not beachfront, but if you’re someone who values character over convenience and prefers discovering a place rather than being surrounded by other travelers doing the exact same itinerary, this spot really delivers. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s the kind of place that does the fundamentals exceptionally well without trying too hard to impress you.

  This two level, one bedroom apartment was outstanding. It is a short 2-3 minute walk to the waterfront street. The upstairs balcony had a good view of the sea and mountains. The apartment was huge and an incredible value for the price we paid. I would stay there again if and when we are in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The room size to start was wonderful, our room had two floors and plenty of space to relax. The pool was the perfect size to relax in or sit by the side. Every morning there was breakfast provided with plenty of different options to choose from, something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they cleaned the rooms everyday and provided free water. Plenty of essentials offered as well. The air conditioning worked well and made the room perfectly comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: In the morning there is a prayer that is very loud, however this wasn’t a huge issue, though it did happen around 5 am. So this could wake you up if you are a light sleeper, but the prayer only lasts for a minute or so. This was the only downside
