Walking up to Elanis Suites, you immediately get that feeling this place knows what it’s doing. It’s tucked away in the Şirin Yalı neighborhood — honestly, the name translates to “sweet waterfront,” which pretty much sums up the vibe. The four-star property sits right across from the local taxi stand, which might sound odd but actually makes getting around Antalya ridiculously easy. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the entrance that made me feel welcome from the start.

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Muratpaşa, which means you get the best of both worlds. The Mediterranean is literally a stone’s throw away, and I mean that quite literally. You can hear the waves from some rooms, which is pretty magical when you’re trying to fall asleep. The area feels authentically Turkish rather than overly touristy, so you’ll find local cafes and small shops mixed in with the usual holiday spots. Couples seem to gravitate here, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about wandering these quiet streets in the evening.

The Suites Experience

The rooms at Elanis Suites are what you’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Each suite gives you proper space to spread out — not just a cramped hotel room with a tiny sitting area tacked on. The kitchenettes are actually functional, which is rare in my experience. I appreciated having a proper fridge and decent counter space, especially since the local markets have such incredible fresh produce. The balconies vary depending on which room you get, but even the smaller ones give you that Mediterranean breeze that makes everything feel more relaxed.

Getting Around and Amenities

That taxi stand location I mentioned earlier? It’s genuinely brilliant. You can hop into Antalya’s old town (Kaleiçi) in about ten minutes, or head to the bigger beaches without any hassle. The staff seems to have relationships with several drivers, so you’re not standing around wondering if you’ll get a fair price. The hotel itself keeps things simple but effective — there’s a decent breakfast setup, reliable WiFi throughout, and the kind of air conditioning that actually works when you need it most.

What strikes me most about Elanis Suites is how it manages to feel both relaxing and well-connected. You’re not isolated from real Turkish life, but you’re also not dealing with the chaos of the main tourist strips. The 8.8 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how the little things just work here — hot water when you want it, helpful staff who don’t hover, and that sweet spot location that recent guests keep raving about.   This two level, one bedroom apartment was outstanding. It is a short 2-3 minute walk to the waterfront street. The upstairs balcony had a good view of the sea and mountains. The apartment was huge and an incredible value for the price we paid. I would stay there again if and when we are in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The room size to start was wonderful, our room had two floors and plenty of space to relax. The pool was the perfect size to relax in or sit by the side. Every morning there was breakfast provided with plenty of different options to choose from, something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they cleaned the rooms everyday and provided free water. Plenty of essentials offered as well. The air conditioning worked well and made the room perfectly comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: In the morning there is a prayer that is very loud, however this wasn’t a huge issue, though it did happen around 5 am. So this could wake you up if you are a light sleeper, but the prayer only lasts for a minute or so. This was the only downside
