Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels in Antalya, and the Elips Royal honestly surprised me in ways I wasn’t expecting. It’s tucked away in Etiler – not right on the coast like some of the flashier places, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re about a 15-minute walk from Konyaaltı Beach, which I mean, sure, it’s not beachfront, but you avoid all that tourist chaos and the prices that come with it.

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is how they’ve managed to make a 4-star place feel more upscale than it technically is. The lobby’s got this warm, almost residential feel – marble floors that don’t echo like crazy, and the staff actually remembers your name after the first day (rare these days, honestly). The spa is where they really shine though. I’m usually skeptical about hotel spas, but theirs feels legit – proper Turkish bath experience, not some watered-down tourist version. The massage therapists know what they’re doing, and the whole area has this authentic hammam vibe that you don’t find in the big chain hotels.

Now, the rooms are solid – nothing revolutionary, but thoughtfully done. Good water pressure (trust me, this matters in Turkey), decent air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and surprisingly comfortable beds. The balcony views depend on which side you get, but even the courtyard-facing ones are pretty peaceful. What I really appreciated was the attention to small stuff – proper blackout curtains, enough outlets near the bed, a minibar that doesn’t cost more than dinner. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which honestly puts it ahead of some 5-star places I’ve been to in the area. You know what though? The breakfast is where they could step it up a bit. It’s perfectly adequate – fresh bread, local cheeses, decent coffee – but nothing that’ll make you rush downstairs. Still, for the price point and that 7.4 rating, you’re getting solid value. The location in Etiler means you’re close enough to the old town (quick dolmuş ride) but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without street noise. Plus, there’s this little family-run restaurant just two blocks down 851 Sokak that serves the best pide I had during my entire stay – the hotel staff will point you toward it if you ask.

  Very comfortable, modern, clean, city center location, has many things provided as part of the stay e.g towels, toiletries, water and coffee on the vanity,usage of spa. Excellent air conditioning, the gentleman who did the Night Shift saved us as we had an issue with our final flight, he quickly resolved this for us. There are good local restaurants nearby which are fairly priced too. Gas station opposite the hotel with a small store for any required purchases. Mini fridge included in the room too which is quite handy. Breakfast is very good, has a good range, spa is fantastic as is hammam, included in cost but you do pay for massage. Rooms are excellent for the price. Will certainly be back again, thank you 🙂

  We arrived late at night and the man at the reception was really nice and helpful. He made sure to explain us everything and help us with suggestions of places to go. There was not enough towels on the room, but when we asked, they made sure to bring them on our room. The room was spacious. The hotel was just a 5 minutes drive from the centre.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast was poor, and it was the same every day. The hotel could use a bit renovation. The pool was not working on one of the days of our stay.

  First, the receptionist, Mrs. Asuman behavior and hospitability was excellent. Breakfast was very good and wifi connection was perfect. Access to public transport was very good

  Staff was great. Reception check in and check out was easy. Spa centre staff is nice as well. I forgot my charger in my room after check-out, so the lady from housekeeping came down quick and gave it to me.
  
  Housekeeping stuff is awesome,my room was always cleaned and when i didnt want it cleaned it was not cleaned. Always refresh of tea and coffee sachets.

  What could be improved: Windows are super dirty. Feels like none has cleaned them for years. Could spend some money on cleaning,because first you do is look from the windows and see the view you got and if you got dirty windows it ruins it.
  
  Spa centre not working in the morning. I went to the spa around 9 am and it was closed. I dont want go to spa centre after eating,so it would be perfect if it would work in the morning.
  
  Breakfast is below average. Just sandwiches you can do,omelette and stuff like that,but no croissant,desserts or regular chicken or something only sausages. Coffee machine isnt good what comes out is super diluted
  
  However for the price i dont mark down because of food or spa working hours. It is because of windows
