Ema Houses Overview
You know what? I’ve stayed at plenty of boutique places around Antalya, but Ema Houses actually surprised me – and that’s saying something for a city where every other building claims to be a “unique experience.” It’s tucked away on Çağdaş Sokak, which honestly sounds more impressive than it looks at first glance, but that’s sort of the point here. This isn’t one of those flashy places trying to scream luxury at you from the street.
The thing about Ema Houses is that it feels like someone’s really thoughtful relative decided to open a few rooms in their beautifully renovated home. I mean, there’s no official star rating because it doesn’t fit into those cookie-cutter categories – it’s more intimate than that. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re inside; the attention to detail is kind of ridiculous in the best way. Each room has this mix of Turkish design elements with modern touches that actually work together (unlike some places where it feels like they just threw a kilim on IKEA furniture and called it authentic). The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious, and honestly, the water pressure is better than what I get at home.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Çağdaş Sokak isn’t one of those main drags where you’ll hear scooters buzzing around until 2 AM. You’re still close enough to walk to the old town area, maybe fifteen minutes if you don’t mind the slight uphill stretch, but far enough away that you can actually sleep. The owner clearly knows the neighborhood well and gave me directions to this little bakery around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in Antalya will tell you is basically a miracle. The whole check-in process was refreshingly normal – no overly formal desk setup, just someone who seemed genuinely happy to have you there and wanted to make sure you knew where to find the good coffee in the morning. It’s the kind of place where you might end up chatting with other guests over breakfast, but not in that forced, hostel-y way. More like you just naturally bump into interesting people who picked the same slightly off-the-beaten-path spot you did.

Everything was perfect
Tony from Ireland – 31 May 2025 (9/10)
Didn’t have breakfast as we had a 5.30 am start. Taxi was around in about 3mins. Excellent place to stay 15 min from airport. Great meal the night before excellent service in the restaurant and really good food. Highly recommended beautiful setting underestimated.
Anastasiia from Norway – 30 May 2025 (9/10)
Nice hotel for me who stayed for only one night and needed a place close to airport. Wifi was good, food was okay, but not so tasty. Staff is really friendly but they don’t really speak anything but Turkish. But for mine reason for this stay I’m happy. But I would not like to stay longer.
What could be improved: Boring, not so much to do.Anastasia from Ukraine – 25 May 2025 (9/10)
Very hospitable staff.
Cool area for the rest- quite green and pleasant for view. Swimming pool is huge plus.
What could be improved: More light in the hall of hotel would be better.Alexey from United States – 19 May 2025 (9/10)
Gated property, safe and secured. Good location. New bed and other furniture. Soft water!!
What could be improved: I would add a sign in front of the gate saying that the gate will open automatically.Joan from United Kingdom – 17 May 2025 (9/10)
Beautiful building, delightful staff, comfortable room, close enough to the airport that the taxi didn’t bankrupt me (about £5), delicious breakfast, and close enough to the metro for me to continue my trip to Finike by public transport.
What could be improved: NothingLindsey from United Kingdom – 12 May 2025 (9/10)
Fabulous hotel very near to the airport so its ideal for a first or last night. Lovely pool area and nice breakfast. Great value for money. We had the cheapest room, and it was a good size.

A charming, peaceful, comfortable, and well decorated hotel. Perfect for a night or two if you need to be near the airport.
What could be improved: Nothing.Sabine from Austria – 9 May 2025 (8/10)
It was newer and nicer than I expected going by the pictures! Great location, lovely garden and pool. The breakfast was good too.
What could be improved: The aircon was weak, the room was stuffy. Get a room facing the pool if you can.Marguerite from France – 9 May 2025 (9/10)
• A great surprise for a hotel near Antalya Airport
• Cosy atmosphere with a nice garden and a relaxing pool
• Clean, modern rooms with quality furnishings
• Good Wi-Fi connection
• Great shower pressure and warm water — a real plus, especially for women with long hair
• On-site restaurant open until 9 PM — very convenient for late arrivals
• Excellent location, just a short drive from the airport
• Comfortable duvet, four pillows, and complimentary bottles of water in the room — thoughtful and appreciated touches
What could be improved: • Staff could have been more proactive in offering a breakfast box for early departures, as we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast due to our early flight
• Loud music late into the night, as if there was a party — hopefully just a one-time event and not something regular. As I stayed only 1 night I couldn’t tell
