Honestly, when I first walked up to Enda Lara Hotel on 2283. Sokak, I almost missed it entirely – which, looking back, is kind of perfect for this place. It’s tucked into this quiet residential street in Antalya, and you know what? That’s exactly what makes it special. While everyone else is fighting for balcony space at those massive resort complexes along the coast, you’re here in what feels like a local neighborhood where people actually live.

The thing about Enda Lara is that it doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. There’s no star rating plastered on the front (boutique hotels here often skip that whole system anyway), but honestly, I’ve stayed at plenty of “official” four-stars that had way less character. The owners – and I mean this in the best way – run it like they’re having guests over at their house. Check-in was this relaxed conversation over Turkish tea, not some rushed transaction at a marble counter. The rooms are… well, they’re comfortable without being fancy. Clean lines, decent Wi-Fi, and thankfully, proper blackout curtains because the morning light in Antalya can be pretty intense. I actually appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the Ottoman-themed décor you see everywhere else – sometimes simple just works better.

What really sold me on this place was discovering how easy it is to slip into actual Antalya life from here. Walk five minutes in any direction and you’re passing corner bakeries where locals grab their morning simit, not tourist traps selling overpriced börek. The old town – Kaleiçi – is maybe a fifteen-minute stroll, but you’re far enough away that you won’t hear the late-night party crowds stumbling back to their hotels. I mean, if you want to be right in the middle of all that action, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you appreciate being able to retreat somewhere quieter… yeah, this works. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in Turkish cities will tell you is not something to take for granted. The 7.8 rating it’s got feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s solid and honest, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Plus, the price point makes sense, especially when you consider you’re getting that boutique hotel experience without paying resort prices. It’s the kind of place I’d actually come back to, which I realize sounds like faint praise, but trust me – in a city full of cookie-cutter accommodations, finding somewhere with genuine personality is worth something.

  The hotel is cheap, but new and clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast: meat and fish sausages, egg, French fries, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, coffee, jam. There is a swimming pool, clean.

  A cozy little hotel in a quiet location. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach. Migros supermarket is 5 minutes away. There are several cafes around with reasonable prices and delicious food. I will definitely come back here again.

  Price/quality, location, one guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful, speeks well English, but other stuff (night portier) doesn't speek English at all,
  
  What could be improved: I had some questions/problems to solve as I arrived, he (night portier) couldn't help me. Budget rooms are unacceptable, the air-conditioning is above your bed, it smelled badly (because all Turkish people smoke in the rooms), and sheets weren't clean. So I had to change for a standard room, and it was a lot better. Even though the bathroom needs improvement.

  The people are just excellent. We arrived very late, and they were so helpful in fetching us from the airport, helped us with our bags, and smooth checked in.
  I feel the place can do better with an upgrade but it's understandable as upgrading is extremely expensive.
  
  What could be improved: Well, not to complaint, too bad the hot water wasn't hot.
