Tucked away on this narrow side street in Haşimişcan – honestly, I had to ask my taxi driver to slow down twice because the address numbers are pretty small – it’s the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t caught onto yet.

The whole vibe here is refreshingly unpretentious. I mean, they don’t even bother with star ratings, which actually works in their favor because you’re not walking in with cookie-cutter hotel expectations. The owner clearly has an eye for design – there’s this mix of vintage Turkish elements with modern touches that doesn’t feel forced or Instagram-staged. What really got me was the attention to small details that actually matter when you’re traveling: proper reading lights (not those useless dim things most places have), outlets exactly where you need them, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – really good water pressure in the showers. The common areas have this lived-in comfort that makes you want to hang around with a book or strike up conversations with other travelers.

Location-wise, you’re in Muratpaşa, which puts you close enough to the action without being right in the tourist chaos of Kaleiçi. It’s maybe a 15-minute walk to the old town if you take the route through the side streets – which I’d recommend anyway because you’ll pass some genuinely good local spots for breakfast. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet at night, so if you’re someone who needs decent sleep (and let’s be honest, most of us do), you won’t be dealing with street noise until the early hours. There’s usually street parking available, though like anywhere in Antalya, it can get tight during peak summer months. Check-in was straightforward – no lengthy speeches about hotel policies, just someone who clearly knew the area well enough to give solid recommendations about where to eat and which beaches to hit depending on what you’re after. That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s the kind of place that gets the fundamentals right while adding just enough character to stick in your memory.

  The bed was comfy, the hostel is very nice. I could do the laundry for a fair price. The staff was kind. Clean toilet and kitchen.
  
  What could be improved: The dorm is having a glazed wall towards the corridor, which does not give much privacy eve. If it's opaque glass. Plus, the light and the noise from the corridor can get in the room.

  Helpful staff.Bed comfartable. . Clean linnen and bathoom was spotless . Shared kitchen is very useful .What would one want more from a hostel ?

  BRING PETER BACK! Of the countless things that I could commend about this establishment, the one thing that exceptionally stood out was the warm welcome I received from the tall thin man that was often found in the kitchen. I eventually came to fondly know him as Peter. The living legend. Since his departure after a rather impolite review, I have dearly missed him and the positive vibe that he brings to this hostel. His departure has been deeply felt by all who stay here.

  Very clean. Free kitchen use and dishes (as long as you wash afterwards). Free filtered water refill. Bathroom is always clean and dry.

  Honestly exceptional for a hostel experience. I was amazed by how clean the kitchen, bathrooms and floors were throughout my 3 days there. With so many people using the facilities, I was very impressed. I often saw them being cleaned. Staff was delightful and very helpful. Location was perfect and very close to downtown. There is so much convenience in every part of the stay. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the thick foam pad. The bunk beds are secured to the wall, so they don't move when climbing them. You can rent a lock if you don't have one. They respond very quickly on whatsapp during reception hours. There is a place to hang clothes for each bed. The curtain does a good job of blocking light. There is a lamp and basket within each bed enclosure. Very impressed. I am a backpacker and have been all over the world. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
