Frankfurt Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Frankfurt Hotel feels like discovering a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Kaleiçi — and honestly, that’s exactly what it is. This four-star boutique property sits on a quiet cobblestone street where you can actually hear the Mediterranean breeze rustling through the old city walls. The building itself has this charming blend of traditional Turkish architecture with modern touches that somehow works perfectly without feeling forced or touristy.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what really struck me about this place? The location is absolutely unbeatable — I mean, couples rate it 9.8 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re literally in the best part of Antalya’s old town, where narrow streets wind past ancient Roman walls and lead to hidden courtyards filled with bougainvillea. The harbor is just a two-minute walk away, and you can easily stroll to Hadrian’s Gate or climb up to the old clock tower without dealing with any of the chaos from the main tourist strips. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Antalya, but everything you need is still right there.
The Room Experience
My room was on the second floor with a small balcony that overlooked the neighborhood’s terracotta rooftops — not the sea, but honestly, the view was more charming than I expected. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated, with local textiles and artwork that actually meant something. The air conditioning worked perfectly (crucial in Turkish summers), and the bathroom was modern without losing the building’s character. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even though you’re in the middle of the old city.
Breakfast & Amenities
The breakfast spread genuinely impressed me — they do this continental buffet with proper Turkish specialties alongside the usual international options, plus they accommodate halal requirements seamlessly. You can even grab breakfast to go if you’re planning an early morning trip to nearby attractions. The staff mentioned they have free parking available, which is honestly a miracle in this part of town where most places charge extra or make you park blocks away. It’s one of those practical details that makes a real difference when you’re traveling.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I understand why this place consistently gets such high ratings — it’s that rare combination of authentic location, genuine hospitality, and smart amenities that actually enhance your experience rather than just checking boxes. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out, so they’ll point you toward the best local restaurant or tell you when to visit the harbor market for the freshest fish. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying with knowledgeable locals rather than just occupying a hotel room, and that makes all the difference when you’re trying to really experience Antalya’s old town charm.

This was a very quirky little hotel, it wasn’t plush, but the staff were so amazingly friendly

The tranquility in a busy environment and the beautiful and friendly staff, totally a home from home, I would return again. Semas (if I have spelt it right? Haha) Omelettes are second to non…superb! X
What could be improved: I have no complaints. Pool is great as well!Daisy from United Kingdom – 3 July 2024 (10/10)
What a lovely hotel. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is right in the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Transport links to the rest of Antalya are within a 10 minute walk. I didn’t use the hotel pool but it looked very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Good central location. Easy 10 minute walk to trams or marina. Good wifi and very good breakfast. A choice of two roof top terraces! One with a fridge / freezer where you can either purchase drinks or keep your own.
Awesome pool with even a plug point for charge it your device.Catherine from United Kingdom – 19 September 2023 (10/10)
Perfect location.clean and tidy. friendly staff.
What could be improved: Very small kitchen area but does the job.does have everything needed.Greta from United States – 4 September 2023 (9/10)
The location was perfect, located in the old town of Antalya and quite close to Memerli Plaji. Shops, restaurants and ancient sites all with in a short walk. The room was good size for 3 people. Liked the hotel terrace. The pool was smaller in size, but was satisfying and didn't have early closing times like some of the other places we stayed. Free parking- the hotel offers free parking, but we found parking on the streets as well, that was free and easy.
What could be improved: The bathroom was small. One of the smallest of the 5 places we stayed. Before going I read some reviews about the owner or manager, being unfriendly so I was a bit concerned. True, he isn't a jovial type, but he was attentive to our needs. I think maybe it is more of a language barrier,German may be his first language. If driving, it is difficult to drive into this old town on Friday and Saturday nights. It is very busy, the old town is gated off so it becomes a traffic jam trying to get it in.Anna from Russia – 3 August 2023 (10/10)
Perfect breakfast. A lot of fruit. Fresh orange juice, perfect coffee. All is fresh and best quality. Cleaning every day. All is spotless. Very helpful staff. Location is great. 5 minutes walk to the beach.
Yogesh from India – 24 July 2023 (10/10)
The place was beautiful and serene. I really liked the hosts – they were very warm and courteous. The location was fantastic too and convenient for walking to some of the better places in Kaleici. The room, and breakfast were very good.
What could be improved: The wifi was not accessible everywhere within the property. I could use it in the terrace and the breakfast place, but the reception was quite poor in the room.
