You know what’s funny about Grace Lounge Premium? The name doesn’t really prepare you for what you’re walking into. I mean, when I first turned down Sakarya Sokak in Kaleiçi, I almost missed it entirely – it’s tucked into this narrow cobblestone street that feels more like a secret passage than an actual address. But honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place special.

The thing about staying in the old town is that you’re literally living inside Antalya’s ancient walls, and Grace Lounge gets this better than most hotels. Your morning coffee isn’t just some generic lobby experience – you’re sitting there listening to the call to prayer echoing off Ottoman-era buildings while watching cats navigate the maze of narrow alleys below. The owners clearly spent time thinking about how to blend modern comfort with the neighborhood’s character, and it shows in weird little details like the way they’ve preserved original stone walls but added these incredibly comfortable reading nooks. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re not huge, but they feel thoughtfully designed rather than cramped. Each one’s different, which you’d expect in a building this old, but they’ve managed to make the quirks feel intentional rather than like compromises.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic list – he walked me outside and pointed down toward Mermerli Beach, explaining which restaurants the locals avoid during cruise ship days and which tiny place serves the best pide after 9 PM. That kind of insider knowledge is gold when you’re trying to experience Antalya like something other than a tourist trap. The location puts you within walking distance of everything that matters in Kaleiçi – Hadrian’s Gate is basically around the corner, and you can wander down to the marina in about five minutes – but the side street location means you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds that hit the main drags. I actually slept really well, which surprised me given how thin the walls can be in these converted historical buildings. The only minor downside is parking – if you’ve got a rental car, you’ll need to leave it in one of the lots outside the old town walls and walk in, but that’s true for pretty much anywhere worth staying in Kaleiçi. Check-in was smooth, they speak excellent English, and they genuinely seem to care about making sure you understand what you’re getting into with the whole old-town-living experience. It’s not trying to be a five-star resort, and thank god for that – it’s something more interesting.

  It's in a great location, I walked everywhere. The bed was super comfy. The staff was very helpful. The building is really nice and the food was great, though huge portions.
  
  What could be improved: I would have liked a kettle in the room for coffee or tea. The water pressure wasn't the greatest, and you could hear the music.

  Very cozy hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful, clean, comfortable rooms, ideal location. The hotel has small cafe with good wine and great music. I definitely recommend it!!

  The room was amazing. Good size, nice furniture and very clean. Also the food was very nice and the owner has a fantastic wine cellar with many good Turkish and other wines. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was a standout – very large and exceptionally comfortable.

  It was a great experience staying in the Grace lounge. The owner was so warm and welcoming, helping us with every single thing that were not even related to the hotel stay (like calling lost and found in the airport to help us with lost luggage and helping with taxi). The hotel is located on a side street and despite the few bars below it is still one of the calmest places in the area. They also offer wine tastings from one of the best sommelier in Turkey.
  The room is large and bright and with attention to the smallest details. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

  We had the pleasure of staying at Grace Lounge Suites for 4 nights during mid September 2023.
  
  Antalya is an amazing city, especially the old town. Grace Lounge Suites is a superb accommodation addition here.
  
  The owner, Salih, went out of his way to make us feel welcome, like guests in his own house. We had plenty of conversations over a coffee or glass of wine (the wine is amazing!).
  
  The rooms are brand new, they only opened to the public in August 2023. Lovingly renovated to retain the old world charm of the area but also modern and very comfortable. The bed is HUGE for a great nights sleep.
  
  The old town is known for its fun nightlife, the vibe is incredible, full of different types of live music, there is something for everyone. However, many other property reviews in the old town have complaints about noise. Not here, it’s located in a quieter area of town and the room we had was located overlooking a quiet residential street.
  
  We didn’t eat at the hotel but I had plenty of wine (did I mention the wine?).
  
  This is my Wife and I’s first trip to Turkey and Grace Lounge Suites has made it a very memorable one.
  I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and wish Grace Lounge the all the best for the future.

  Everything! Run by a lovely family who were so helpful, even running out late at night to buy me baklava to fly home with. Perfect restaurant with beautiful rooms, great en-suites, absolutely nothing to not like. Would I go back? Absolutely, I left this morning and miss it already! It's also in a great location in the Old Town, 2 seconds from lots or bars and restaurants, and around the corner from a main road with all the high street shops, so the best of both worlds. As for the beach, 5 mins walk through the charming Old Town! Dead quiet too, great nights sleep, although their rather good white wine may have contributed! I shall be back.
