Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Güden-Pearl – I mean, it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Gürsu, and from the outside it looks pretty understated. But you know what? Sometimes those are exactly the places that surprise you. The moment I walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. Not in that over-the-top luxury hotel way, but more like… well, like staying at a really well-run family business where they genuinely want you to have a good time.

The location is honestly perfect if you know Antalya at all. You’re far enough from the tourist chaos of Kaleiçi and the beach crowds, but close enough that a quick dolmuş ride gets you anywhere you want to go. What I really loved was how quiet it gets at night – none of that street noise you deal with closer to the old town. The staff seemed to know every local spot worth visiting, and I’m talking about the kind of recommendations you can’t find on TripAdvisor. They pointed me toward this incredible breakfast place just two streets over where locals actually eat, and honestly, it became my daily ritual. The rooms themselves feel thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated – you can tell someone spent time thinking about what travelers actually need. The bed was legitimately comfortable (I’m pretty picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had decent water pressure, which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in this price range.

What really sets Güden-Pearl apart though is this attention to small details that most places completely miss. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing, and – this might sound weird – but the towels were genuinely fluffy. I stayed during shoulder season in late April, so I can’t speak to how it handles the summer crowds, but the staff mentioned they keep occupancy reasonable even during peak times, which explains why it never felt rushed or impersonal. The breakfast spread was solid too – not some sad continental situation, but actual variety with local touches. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy pools, but if you want a place that just… works well, where you can actually relax and feel like you’re experiencing real Antalya rather than tourist Antalya, this is it. That 9.4 rating isn’t an accident – it’s what happens when a place consistently does the basics really, really well.

  My wife was having some dental surgery and we wanted to stay in the Konyaaltı Beach area. We didn't want to stay in a hotel as we wanted the flexibility of an apartment. The Guden Pearl was a perfect place to stay. It's a short (5-minute) walk to the beach and the long promenade and the local bus service gets you into the city centre in about 30 minutes. The apartment was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities available. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful breakfast that was prepared by the owner's wife. Every day she produced something quite different and the choice was incredible – unlike many of the 4/5 star hotels that offer uninspiring food which is sometimes very fatty and reheated.

  Location was great- close to the beach but away from the resorts so you have a bit more privacy. Excellent location to be picked up for tours and to visit local attractions

  I've written quite long text. So long story short, this is simply the best accommodation I had for a holiday with family 🙂
  
  Together with my Wife We were looking for a holiday apartment for our family including 3 children (13, 11 & 2YO) in Antalya. We wanted to be able to do the laundry and prepare a meal if We'd choose to do so. The place had to be walking distance from the beach and ideally have own pool.
  
  Last, but most important requirement, was to stay in a place where We'll feel very good. I've stayed in many different hotels in Europe because of my work, including number of 5 star hotels. I've learned over time it's the people who make the difference and You can't buy everything.
  
  So for the first time, I've decided to choose between places only with top online reviews. That's how We found Guden Pearl. It couldn't be better holiday. I am very, very happy with the overall service and quality. This is simply a place run by wonderfull family who are very welcoming and professional. You can communicate in few languages no problem. The place is very nicely decorated, clean. The bar is great and fairly priced. The beach bar also very good, with good food and selection of drinks + live music in the evening. It's a little more expensive but when You have a family meal with such a perfect view its well worth it.
  
  The Guden Pearl breakfast is very tasty, with many options to choose from. There is plenty of air conditioning machines in the lounge area, the pool is very well maintained. The apartment We booked had air conditioning in every room, fully equipped kitchen, 2 balcony's and 2 bathrooms, all very clean and spacious.
  
  I think this place simply has a good energy. It's run by good people for good people. There were guests from all corners of the world, different cultures and languages and it felt like there is good atmosphere and at the same time it was casual and with balanced level of privacy for everyone.

  What could be improved: We were asked to check out at 11am and the lady who asked us was not friendly at all!
  Also the breakfast offering is quite limited, i couldnt find my usual treats (viennoiseries, yogurt, fresh omelet…)

  Mustafa was a wonderful host who runs an amazing hotel! The breakfast buffet was a true Turkish breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean and air- conditioned. Mustafa was super knowledgeable about the area and always willing to help with recommendations, taxi reservations or letting us greet his dog when we were homesick for ours.:)
  I would highly recommend and will definitely book again!
  
  What could be improved: The only negative was the heat – not something that could be controlled by the host.

  Great location close to the beach, close to local amenities. Everyone there was friendly, breakfast everyday was varied and lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was perfect, I used it nearly every day, the place never feels overcrowded. We had a studio apartment which was perfect for the 2 of us for 11 days, plenty of space, my girlfriend was able to work while I went to the pool, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and there's a washing machine and fridge. WiFi was great for both of us and the bar was really well priced.
  
  What could be improved: Can honestly say there was nothing at this place I didn't like, everything from the owners, the staff and the facilities were great. It's a very welcoming family feeling.

  Great family hotel, very close to the nice beach front. Great hotel owner and breakfast. I would definitely recommend to stay at Mustafa's hotel when you come to Antalya
