Hamburg Apart Otel Overview
So I stumbled across Hamburg Apart Otel during one of those last-minute booking sessions where you’re scrolling through endless options, and honestly? Best accidental find in Antalya’s old town. The place sits right on Hıdırlık Sokak – and if you know Kaleiçi at all, you’ll know that’s basically prime real estate without the tourist trap pricing that comes with being directly on the harbor.
What struck me first was how the building itself just fits into the neighborhood. I mean, you’re literally walking on cobblestones that have been worn smooth by centuries of foot traffic, past these gorgeous Ottoman-era houses with their overhanging wooden balconies, and then there’s Hamburg Apart Otel looking like it’s always belonged there. The apart-hotel concept works really well here too – you get that independence of having your own space (kitchen, proper living area) but with hotel services when you actually want them. The rooms are clean and functional without trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, which I actually appreciated. Sometimes you just want a place that works, you know?
Location-wise, you’re maybe a three-minute walk from Hıdırlık Tower – that’s the round stone tower where locals go to watch sunset, not the tourist-packed marina spots. Turn the other direction and you’re wandering through the narrow streets where you’ll find those little tea gardens tucked away behind wooden doors, the kind of places where old men play backgammon until late and nobody speaks English but somehow you still end up having great conversations. The whole area gets quieter after about 10 PM when the day-trippers head back to their resort hotels, which means you actually get to experience Kaleiçi as a neighborhood rather than just a historical site.
Parking can be tricky – well, parking anywhere in the old town is tricky since most streets barely fit a donkey cart, let alone a rental car. But the hotel staff knows all the spots where you can actually leave a vehicle without getting towed or blocked in by a tour bus. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly formal hotel theater where they act like you’re checking into the Ritz. The whole operation feels family-run even though it’s clearly professional – they know their stuff about the area and will point you toward the good restaurants (hint: avoid anything with English menus posted outside).
The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises, and the location alone is worth the price. You’re staying in actual historic Antalya, not some concrete resort complex that could be anywhere in the Mediterranean. Plus, you can walk to the old harbor for breakfast, spend the day exploring Roman ruins or hitting the beach, then come back to your own little apartment-style space to decompress. That combination of independence and location – especially at three-star prices – is pretty hard to beat in this part of the world.

Great location in the old town. Very friendly staff. The apartment itself was quite spacious and it was great that there was a washing machine.
What could be improved: Bit noisy at night. Bathroom was very small.Tatyana from United Kingdom – 21 August 2024 (9/10)
It was a lovely little hotel, clean and pretty, staff most friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, the location amazing. We shall come here again and will recommend it to our friends
What could be improved: NA. We liked everything.Shannon from United States – 15 August 2024 (9/10)
The apartment was spacious, clean and perfectly located! We would definitely stay again.
What could be improved: The staff insisted on payment in cash or bank transfer. They had capacity to accept credit cards but did not want to. We were not prepared for this an it was an inconvenience.Нина from Peru – 24 October 2023 (9/10)
It's a great hotel, the rooms are very clean. Has a fridge and a kettle, a perfect quiet location in the heart of the old city, near two beaches, and a lot of restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is really in the OLD town, very close from a nice park and a arranged “beach “ , the “beach” is actually payed access ( chaise longs) to the sea.
There are no 2 rooms and a living-room, only one room has privacy the other one is a big room somehow divided to the kitchen. You have to pass through the second room to get to the toilet. The kitchen is well equipped ( we were able to do the loundry: the washing powder was provided )
The Russian lady at the desk was very helpful, the rest of the staff doesn’t speak much English or French…
What could be improved: The noise in the night is unbearable: the hotel is at the street and in the middle of the party/ if you want to sleep before 1-2 am go elsewhere, if you want to party you are in the best spot
We stayed 8 nights but even if breakfast was included we only take it 3 times because was too repetitive (French fries, white fluffy bread that we didn’t like and eggs) Only tea is included, we had to pay for coffee and they are too small for the price
The bathroom was far too small for 4 people and when someone took a shower it was flooded everywhere in the bathroom ( difficult for someone to access the toilet)
No cover for the duvet ( who knows how many people before me use it but I am cold in the night so I use it like this because the little blanket was thin and too small for 2 people)
In 8 days no cleaning service was offered or madeSaad from United Kingdom – 16 August 2023 (7/10)
Good breakfast – staff in the evening and at breakfast were great
What could be improved: Manager in the morning was a bit moody
Hotel name was not clearly shown so taxi missed it several times –Mp from United Kingdom – 7 August 2023 (9/10)
Very friendly staff, the location is great, accessible to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. Beautiful neighborhood.
What could be improved: The area is lively but noisy at night timeFemke from Belgium – 24 July 2023 (1/10)

Run by a wonderful family who could not do enough for you from arrival to departure.
Set in a fantastic location on the edge of the old town, so in a quiet area but literally a 3 minute walk and your in the middle of some wonderful bars and restaurants.
Included in the price was a full Turkish Breakfast which certainly set you up for the day.
Room was spotlessly clean with new air conditioning units which is definitely recommended.
Superb value for money in a wonderful old town.
What could be improved: There was nothing to not like, the bathroom is a little small but perfectly ok for a short stay.
