But honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place so special. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential neighborhood where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which is pretty rare when you’re staying anywhere near central Antalya. The owner met me at the door personally (I mean, where does that happen anymore?), and within five minutes I realized I’d stumbled onto something genuinely different.

The thing about Holy Pansiyon is that it doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is – a thoughtfully run small place where someone clearly cares about the details. My room had this perfect balance of traditional Turkish touches without feeling like a theme park, you know? The bathroom was spotless, the bed was actually comfortable (not always a given with boutique places), and there was this little balcony where I ended up spending way too much time just watching the neighborhood wake up. What really got me though was how quiet it was at night – you’re close enough to walk into the old town area, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with late-night party noise or tour groups gathering at 6 AM.

The neighborhood itself is one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug about your travel choices. There’s a little bakery about two blocks down where locals actually go for their morning simit, and I passed the same elderly men playing backgammon at the corner café every single day. Walking to Kaleiçi (the old town) takes maybe fifteen minutes on foot, but it’s a pleasant walk through actual residential streets rather than tourist corridor madness. I kept thinking how this is exactly the kind of place I’d want to stay if I lived in Antalya and had friends visiting – somewhere that gives you a real sense of the city without being stuck in the middle of all the tourist infrastructure. The fact that it consistently gets perfect ratings makes total sense once you’re there, because it’s clear the owners understand that hospitality is about the small things done right rather than flashy amenities you’ll never use.

  We had a fantastic stay at Holy Pension in Kaş! The owner, Bert, is incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us great advice on places to visit, and we even became friends — he’s truly a great guy. The pension is perfectly located in the center, close to everything. It’s very clean and quiet, and it has everything you need, even a washing machine. If you're visiting Kaş, I highly recommend staying here! We will backsoon berk thanks brother
