I discovered there’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens crazy early – around 6 AM – and their börek is honestly better than what I had at some of the fancier hotel breakfast buffets. The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. The kitchen actually works (I know, revolutionary concept), with proper knives and enough counter space to make a real meal if you hit up the Saturday market near the old town. The living area gets this gorgeous afternoon light, and there’s decent Wi-Fi throughout – I spent a few mornings working from the little balcony with my coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for more than a night or two. There are proper blackout curtains (trust me, Turkish summer sun is no joke), the shower has actual water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the bed is the right height. You know how some places have those awkward platform beds that you either fall into or need a ladder for? None of that here. The whole setup just makes sense. I stayed during late spring when things weren’t completely insane with tourists yet, and the owner was genuinely helpful with local recommendations without being pushy about it. She pointed me toward this family-run restaurant about ten minutes away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those meals you remember months later. The only minor thing is that parking can get a bit tight on the street during weekends – apparently there’s a popular coffee shop around the corner that draws crowds – but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this part of the city. If you’re looking for something that feels authentic without sacrificing comfort, and you want to experience Antalya more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through, this place gets it right.
