Couples absolutely love this spot (and I can see why), but it works just as well if you’re traveling solo and want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with real character.

The Rooms

The rooms at Hotel Lykia Old Town Antalya strike this perfect balance between historic charm and modern comfort that’s actually harder to pull off than you’d think. Mine had these beautiful stone walls — original, not fake — and traditional Turkish textiles, but the air conditioning worked perfectly and the Wi-Fi was solid. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, and honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the old town or down at the harbor, you don’t need a massive suite anyway. What you do need is a comfortable bed and a quiet space to retreat to, and this place delivers on both fronts.

The buffet breakfast here is one of those pleasant surprises that sets the tone for your entire day. They’ve got all the Turkish classics — fresh börek, local cheeses, olives, honey from the region — but also enough international options that you won’t feel limited. I particularly loved having breakfast on their terrace when the weather was nice; there’s something about starting your morning with a view over those red-tiled roofs that just feels right. The staff actually seems to care about the quality, which you notice in small details like the bread being properly fresh and the coffee being stronger than the usual hotel fare.

  The breakfast was amazing. Everything made fresh to order. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Right in old town but tucked away from the loud music and night life. Comfortable beds and peaceful atmosphere. Staff did not ask or urge us to give good reviews. This is my first time writing a review because I believe they truly deserve it!

  Hotel Lykia is located in lovely Old Town and right beside loads of restaurants and bars, but was on a street where it was not noisy at all.
  It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The building is very well designed with a lovely outdoor area at the back, where you have breakfast, which had lots of choices and service is absolutely excellent.
  If back in Antalya we would definitely stay at Hotel Lykia again, without any hesitation.

  It was absolutely beautiful. Great location, clean and the pool was great.
  The staff were all so friendly and would do anything to help, complimentary coffee and fig cake whenever we wanted. Breakfast was fantastic, even when there were only a handful of guests there was a vast selection of delicious choices. Fireplace in the room was a nice touch.
  
  What could be improved: The bar drinks were quite expensive so we didn’t choose to drink much by the pool.
  The room was quite small and the bathroom flooded with the shower had no ventilation. Would choose the largest room if staying more than 3 days.

  Great hotel in a renovated historical building. We had great time there. The rear garden and the breakfast were really good.
  The hotel and the rooms are finely decorated, which adds value to the staying.
  
  What could be improved: Remember that you are staying in an historical building so the sound isolation between floors might not be the best. We could easily hear what was happening upstairs.
