You know what struck me first about Hotel SU & Aqualand? It’s actually positioned perfectly on Dumlupınar Boulevard – not stuck way out in the middle of nowhere like some of these resort complexes, but right where you can easily hop into Antalya’s center when you want a change of pace. I mean, the location alone makes it worth considering, honestly.

The whole setup is pretty impressive – they’ve got this massive water park situation that’s actually integrated into the hotel grounds, not just some afterthought tacked on for marketing purposes. The kids go absolutely crazy for it, obviously, but I was surprised how much the adults seemed to enjoy it too. There’s this lazy river that winds around, and honestly, floating there with a drink while the Mediterranean sun beats down… well, it’s hard to complain about that kind of afternoon. The pools are well-maintained too – none of that murky water you sometimes get at places trying to handle too many guests. Speaking of which, it does get pretty busy during peak season (July and August are insane), but the shoulder months? That’s when this place really shines.

What really separates this from your typical five-star resort is the attention to small details that actually matter. The rooms are spacious – like, genuinely spacious, not just “spacious for a hotel room” – and they’ve got proper balconies where you can actually sit and have morning coffee without feeling like you’re perched on a ledge. The air conditioning works properly (crucial in Antalya summers), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout the property, which isn’t always a given at these larger places. The breakfast spread is honestly ridiculous – Turkish specialties mixed with international options, fresh bread that’s actually baked on-site, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. Check-in was smooth when I was there, though I’d heard from other guests that afternoon arrivals during peak times can get a bit chaotic.

The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, which makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with the inevitable little issues that pop up. They’re not just going through the motions – there’s real hospitality there. And here’s something I appreciated: the evening entertainment doesn’t blast until all hours. You get the shows and activities if you want them, but by 11 PM things quiet down enough that you can actually sleep with the balcony door open to catch that sea breeze.

Location-wise, you’re about 15 minutes from the old town if you grab a taxi, and the beach access is direct – no shuttles or long walks dragging your stuff around. The Meltem area itself has that nice residential feel, so you’re not surrounded by nothing but tourist traps and souvenir shops. There’s actually a decent local market just down the street where you can grab fresh fruit or whatever else you need.

Look, it’s not perfect – the pool areas can get crowded, and if you’re looking for some ultra-exclusive boutique experience, this isn’t it. But for families or couples who want solid luxury without the pretentious atmosphere, Hotel SU & Aqualand delivers exactly what it promises. That 8.5 rating? Yeah, it’s earned.

  It was a great hotel with great facilities, we didn’t really use the pool much because the beach was close by and they provided sun beds. The breakfast had a lot of variety and it all tasted amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here if we return to Antalya in the future.

  I really like this hotel, I came back for the third time and I can highly recommend it to everyone! The best hotel in Antalya! The staff has changed since last year and I think this week is much nicer! And if I had any problems, they helped me immediately. The kitchen is simply perfect! Both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are excellent! The room is very nice, clean, everything is there, I miss only one thing and that is a magnifying mirror but that is subjective. The pool is gorgeous, the service outside is also of a high standard! The perfect choice for a long vacation! I will only come back here! The coffee is fabulous and I would like to thank the hotel for the pleasant surprise for my birthday! It was a wonderful gesture! In addition, I always come back with great pleasure, because the atmosphere of the hotel just captivates you! 🙏🏼🇹🇷❤️😊

  A perfect vacation – Comfortable spacious room with an amazing view. Facing the sea, and with private beach across the hotel. Even if you stayed at the hotel for the whole vacation, you would not get bored; plenty of facilities ie pool, gym, sauna, spa, restaurants etc.
  
  What could be improved: The cleanliness in the room; some dust and hair even right after the housekeeping.

  Excellent location, just steps from the "Blue Flag" beach. We loved the large balcony with white doeble bed and nice sea view. Modern hotel, with good facilities and tasty breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: Hotel restaurant is comletely painted red – gets a bit annoying day after day. Must be tough for people working there. We just had breakfast there….
  Due to the nice location, the hotel hosts many events. During our stay, there were two weddigs and it was very loud. We would have expected hotel to inform the guests about these events. They offered us to change the room, but it was close to midnight and didn't want to do that.

  I returned to this hotel, because I enjoyed my stay there last time, but this time I got an upgrade to the most amazing room, so my stay has totally exceeded all expectations. Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, and great breakfast… My room was so beautiful, I wish I stayed longer. Loved every minute, enjoyed the beach, the pool and a massage… would very highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
