Hotel Twenty Overview
Hotel Twenty sits tucked away on İmaret Street in the heart of Kaleiçi, and honestly, you could walk right past it if you weren’t looking carefully. The entrance is understated in that way boutique places often are – no flashy signage or doormen, just a subtle presence that somehow feels more authentic because of it. I mean, this is old town Antalya we’re talking about, where the cobblestone streets are narrow and the Ottoman-era buildings lean into each other like they’re sharing secrets.
What strikes you first is how the hotel actually feels like it belongs in its surroundings. The building itself has that weathered stone character that blends seamlessly with the historic quarter, but inside there’s this careful balance between preserving the old-world charm and adding modern touches that don’t feel forced. The rooms vary quite a bit – some have those thick stone walls that keep things wonderfully cool even when it’s blazing outside, while others open onto small terraces where you can actually hear the call to prayer echoing from Yivli Minaret in the early morning. It’s not a big place, which works in its favor because the staff genuinely remembers your name and your coffee preference by day two.
You know what I really appreciated? The location puts you right in the middle of everything without the tourist trap chaos. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate, and the marina with all its restaurants and bars is just down the hill – though fair warning, those cobblestones can be a bit treacherous after a few drinks on your way back up. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but that’s actually perfect because you’re surrounded by some genuinely good local spots. There’s this little tea garden just around the corner where the locals hang out, and the owner will inevitably try to teach you backgammon if you sit there long enough. Parking can be tricky since cars aren’t really welcome in the old quarter, but the hotel sorts out a spot for you nearby – just don’t expect it to be right at the front door. The 7.5 rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, and there are some quirks you’ll notice (the Wi-Fi can be spotty in certain rooms, and the hot water sometimes takes a minute to get going), but those feel like minor trade-offs for staying somewhere with actual character in one of Turkey’s most atmospheric neighborhoods.

Reviews of Hotel Twenty
Lina from Bulgaria – 3 June 2025 (9/10)
The room and the cleanleness were very good, the staff were kind and helpful, but the guy from the night shift was not speaking English or other language except russian.
What could be improved: They must improve the breakfast: there were no 1 morning fruits and no espresso coffee.Kinga from Spain – 9 May 2025 (8/10)
Very friendly and helpful receptionists, spoke little English however. Beautiful terrace views, great location (difficult with the car though), very good value for money, big shower
What could be improved: We came at 9.30 for breakfast (half an hour before the end) and all food was gone pretty much. No water available. I’m not a picky eater but bread was definitely dry and green olives fermented. Nevertheless, we paid €40 for a night for 2 ppl with breakfast included, so no high expectations.Heather from Germany – 5 May 2025 (8/10)
The hotel was centrally located near the old town, so if you wanted to go sightseeing or shopping, it was perfect. The staff were nice and when we had a problem with our first room, they fixed the problem for our second night. Everything was very basic, but the price was great, so overall it was a good experience.
What could be improved: The first room smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. Despite opening the windows, the smell would not leave. We had to spend the first night there due to lack of rooms, but we were able to move on the second night, and the second room was much better. Also, the breakfast was not great. The bread was stale and my husband said that the spinach in one of the dishes was bad. The view on the roof was nice, however.Fiona from United Kingdom – 4 April 2025 (8/10)
Clean friendly staff
What could be improved: Not having a frigde in room .also the prayers getting played on load speaker at 5am at first was an issue but only heard couple of times they go throughout they say too .Shivani from India – 22 March 2025 (7/10)
This place has very nice location and view from terrace
Everything is nearby
What could be improved: They don't have room service
No water bottles in room
And water bottle at hotel reception is very expensiveGeorgia from United Kingdom – 1 March 2025 (8/10)

I arrived at Hotel Twenty in early morning. The hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from the tram stop from the airport, as well as being just minutes away from most of the main sights. I was able to get an early check-in to my room, which was a cozy size but had everything I needed, including a kettle and coffee sachets. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and gave me all the information I needed, plus provided me with an extra blanket as it turned colder while I was there. The view from the roof terrace was amazing, and even though it was cold there were beautiful blue skies for most of my trip. I really liked Antalya and would like to come back, and I would not hesitate to book Hotel Twenty again.
What could be improved: The hotel reception is on the second floor, with some rather steep stairs, which might prove a problem for those less mobile. Other than that I couldn't fault the place.Nurlan from Azerbaijan – 26 November 2024 (8/10)
Close to landmarksand sea by walk. Around good cafes and restaurants
Josef from United Kingdom – 15 November 2024 (7/10)
very good location right next to the historic Old Town, and near a tram stop. plenty of nice cafes and bars nearby. very helpful staff.
What could be improved: pretty basic, but good for a 2 star. rooms were simple but OK for a few nights stay. no bar or restaurant but breakfast buffet was good on the terrace. overall good value for money.Yasser from United Kingdom – 11 November 2024 (8/10)
The reception staff are very kind, and the housekeeping team includes two lovely ladies who also handle breakfast. Although the menu wasn’t to my taste, I could always ask for an omelette, and she would happily make one for me.
What could be improved: The stairs were a bit too steep for me, and the food didn’t quite suit my taste.
