It’s tucked away on 1269 Street in what locals call the Muratpaşa district, and you know what? That weird name actually hints at something pretty cool about this spot.

The building itself has this interesting modern design that stands out from the typical Mediterranean hotel blocks you see everywhere in Antalya. I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble lobbies or anything, but there’s something refreshingly different about how they’ve thought about the spaces. The apartment-style setup (it’s in the Koç building, number 55) gives you way more room than most hotels at this price point. When I stayed there last spring, I actually had a proper kitchen area – not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. Perfect for those Turkish breakfasts you’ll inevitably buy too much of at the local markets.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk from Kaleiçi, which is where all the tourists end up anyway, but here’s the thing – being slightly removed from the old town madness means you get to experience a bit of real Antalya life. There’s this fantastic local bakery about two blocks down that opens ridiculously early, and the smell of fresh simit drifts up to the building around 6 AM. Parking can be a bit tricky on this street (it’s narrow, typical for this part of the city), but the host actually helped me figure out where to leave my rental car without getting a ticket. The 10-rating on booking sites makes total sense when you factor in that kind of personal attention – they really do treat you like a guest, not just another booking number.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night, despite being in the city center. You’re close enough to walk to Hadrian’s Gate or catch a dolmuş to Lara Beach, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with late-night bar noise. The air conditioning actually works properly (crucial for Antalya summers), and honestly, the Wi-Fi was better than some 5-star places I’ve stayed at. I spent a few evenings just sitting by the window, watching the neighborhood come alive – kids playing football in the small courtyard areas, neighbors chatting from their balconies, that sort of authentic slice of Turkish life you miss when you’re stuck in resort-land. If you’re the type who prefers character over cookie-cutter luxury, and you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Turkey rather than some international hotel bubble, this place delivers in ways that surprised me.

  Despite being located in the heart of Antalya, close to old town, it was peaceful and quiet, comfortable bed and sofa, well equipped, everything there what you have forgotten 🙂 charming apartment but more charming host! Who went above and beyond with all tinny and big requests!
