IC Hotels Airport Overview

You know what surprised me about IC Hotels Airport? It actually doesn’t feel like an airport hotel at all. I mean, sure, it’s right there on Havaalani Yolu – literally “airport road” if you’re wondering – but once you’re inside, you forget about the planes entirely. The soundproofing is honestly impressive, which I didn’t expect from a place that’s essentially in Guzelyurt’s flight path.

The thing is, most people probably book this place thinking it’s just a convenient crash pad before flying out of Antalya, but they’re missing the bigger picture. The location is actually pretty clever – you’re close enough to the airport that you’re not stressed about morning flights, but you’re also right in this interesting spot where the old Guzelyurt area meets the modern development. There’s this little tea garden about a ten-minute walk down the road that locals hang out at, and honestly, stumbling onto that kind of made my whole stay. The hotel itself has that polished four-star vibe without being stuffy about it. Check-in was smooth (they seem to really have their systems down, probably because they deal with so many transit guests), and the rooms are bigger than you’d expect. I particularly liked that they actually thought about storage – there are enough surfaces and hooks that you can properly unpack even if you’re just there for a night.

What really sold me on the place was the breakfast situation. Look, airport hotel breakfasts are usually pretty grim, but they’ve got this spread that includes proper Turkish items alongside the international stuff. The menemen was legit, and they had fresh simit that actually tasted like it came from a good bakery, not some industrial kitchen. The staff seemed genuinely proud of the food, which you don’t always see. Parking is free and plentiful – a relief if you’re dealing with a rental car before flying out. The pool area is surprisingly nice too, though obviously it gets busy during summer months when Turkish families are traveling. But even then, it never felt chaotic. I think the 9.3 rating makes sense because they’ve figured out how to be really good at what they are, rather than trying to be something fancy they’re not. It’s comfortable, reliable, and surprisingly pleasant – which, honestly, is exactly what you want when you’re in transit mode.

  Amazing location just in 5-6 mins from the airport. Taxi is paid by the hotel. Upon arrival I was offered a fruit plate as a welcome gift and my room was upgraded.
  It has a lovely territory and a good gym with all equipment needed. Breakfast was also incredible with huge variety of different meals. And it starts very early morning, so it’s super comfortable in case you have an early flight. Perfect choice for 1 night stay. Highly recommend!

  The hotel takes care of you moment you arrive. There was snack, fruits waiting for us in the room. They even upgraded our room to much bigger room.
  
  What could be improved: None. It is an airport hotel, so airplanes fly right above the hotel but that is expected.

  Our room was great, even better than expected. It was large with plenty of room for our suitcases, etc, along with some nice touches like a small bottle of red wine, jar of sweets and a plate of fresh fruit. The buffet breakfast was huge with so much to choose from and the staff were very efficient.
  
  After picking up our hire car we used the IC Hotel for 2 nights so that we could explore Antalya old town before heading off. From the hotel we used a taxi to take us to and from Antalya old town which was around 200-250 lira each way. Overall, it's a fabulous place to stay.
