KIANA KALEİÇİ Overview
You know how sometimes you stumble across a place that feels like a secret, even though it’s right there in plain sight? That’s exactly what happened when I found KIANA KALEİÇİ tucked away on Zeytin Geçidi sokak in the heart of Kaleiçi. I mean, the old town can be a maze – honestly, I got lost three times just trying to find it the first day – but once you’re there, you realize why they picked this exact spot. The narrow cobblestone street is actually one of the quieter ones, which is saying something since most of Kaleiçi turns into a tourist highway during peak season. What struck me immediately was how the building itself seems to breathe with the neighborhood’s Ottoman-era rhythm, you know? It’s not trying to be anything other than what it is, which is refreshing when you’ve seen too many places that scream “boutique hotel!” the moment you walk in.
The thing about staying here is that you’re literally living inside Antalya’s history, but without all the museum-like stuffiness. I kept my windows open most nights (the street’s quiet enough that you won’t get woken up by late-night revelers heading to the harbor), and there’s something magical about falling asleep to the sound of footsteps echoing off ancient walls. The rooms have this authentic Turkish character – I’m talking about real details, not the fake “traditional” touches some hotels throw around. During the day, you’re a two-minute walk from Hadrian’s Gate, and honestly, you’ll probably pass it six times without thinking about it because that’s just your route to grab coffee or head down to the marina. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too – they sent me to this tiny tea garden that I never would’ve found on my own, tucked behind what looks like just another residential building.
What really sells this place, though, is that it feels authentic without being rough around the edges. Sure, it doesn’t have an official star rating, but that 8.1 guest score makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. The owners clearly put thought into the small stuff – good water pressure (crucial after walking around in 35-degree heat), decent Wi-Fi, and rooms that actually stay cool during those brutal summer afternoons. I stayed in July, which locals kept telling me was crazy tourist season, but somehow this little pocket of Kaleiçi maintained its charm. Maybe it’s because Zeytin Geçidi doesn’t lead to any major attractions, so it stays residential. You’ll hear neighbors chatting in their courtyards in the evening, smell someone grilling fish for dinner, and feel like you’re experiencing the real Antalya instead of just visiting it. If you’re the type who wants to feel connected to a place rather than insulated from it, this is your spot.

Reviews of KIANA KALEİÇİ

Cosy and beautifully decorated. Exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was great too. The location is ideal being slightly quieter but still close to the main attractions and a 2 minute walk to the most breathtaking views.
Elif from Belgium – 30 October 2024 (9/10)
The personnel was great, they were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Location is amazing, you are in the heart of the old center with lots of things to see and do. The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit small. The staff gave us some extra drinks throughout our stay and provided the basic things we needed swiftly. Definitely worth the price and strongly recommended.
What could be improved: The breakfast was ok – it was filling but it is the same food every day and it got a bit boring. The bathroom was very small and it was hard to move inside. The shower was also uncomfortably small.Lotte from United Kingdom – 25 September 2024 (7/10)

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to all the bars and restaurants and near the pier. The room was clean and nice.
What could be improved: The room was a bit small, not place for storage.Christopher from Australia – 18 May 2024 (9/10)
Our room was very comfortable with windows that opened for a lovely breeze. The hotel was in the old part of town, in narrow streets, but it had parking available.

The comfortable and stylish rooms, location, breakfast, staff and service – all exceptional. We had our car and weren't aware of the parking issues being inside the old city. The staff were friendly and accommodating about it, and went out of their way to make sure we could park it outside the hotel. Knowing it was there and safe allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay, we were so grateful for that!
What could be improved: As you are in the old town, there is a nearby bar/hostel that can be quite loud in the evening. It didn't impact our stay much as we were expecting it and it was a Friday night after all! Music doesn't go on all night too.
Also, make sure to let the hotel know if you are bringing a car! There is very limited parking and restrictions on vehicles entering the old town. It worked out for us due to great staff service, but I must have missed something during the booking process as we were not initially aware.Natalia from United States – 25 December 2023 (9/10)
Fantastic location, great value for money, spacious room, relatively quiet.
What could be improved: Be aware that there is no lift. Also, I asked to wake me up at 6:00 a.m. in case I oversleep for early checkout for the flight but it seems like the staff didn't understand me since nobody called.Tourist80 from Russia – 16 December 2023 (9/10)
Very welcoming host, spotlessly clean, perfect location.
Olga from Netherlands – 12 November 2023 (8/10)
Great location, my room had even sea view from one of the windows. Very clean, interior is modern, light and bright. The staff is super friendly.
What could be improved: Might be a bit loud during the night, as there are some bars nearby.Kamil from Poland – 29 October 2023 (9/10)
Boutique hotel in a great location. Very good breakfast!
