Kriti Hotel Antalya Overview

You know what struck me first about Kriti Hotel? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Kizilsaray – 64. Sokak to be exact – and honestly, that’s half the charm right there. I mean, you’re still in the heart of Antalya, but you escape all that tourist chaos that hits the main drags. The building itself has this unassuming, almost residential feel that I actually prefer over those flashy resort-style places. When I checked in, the lobby had that lived-in comfort of a place that’s been taking care of travelers for years without trying too hard to impress anyone.

The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – clean, functional, with that slightly worn-in feeling that somehow makes you relax faster. Air conditioning works (crucial in Antalya summers, trust me), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Being on that side street means you’re not dealing with the street noise from the main boulevards, but you can still walk to all the good stuff in Kizilsaray in maybe five minutes. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed – you know how some budget places totally botch the shower situation? Not here. Hot water was consistent, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed.

The staff here actually knows the neighborhood, which makes a huge difference. They pointed me toward this little çay garden just around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which dolmuş routes to take instead of just saying “take a taxi everywhere” like most hotels do. Parking can be a bit tricky – it’s street parking mostly, and you might have to circle the block once or twice during busy periods, but that’s pretty standard for this part of town. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me because this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, and there’s something refreshing about that. Perfect if you want a clean, comfortable base to explore Antalya without paying resort prices or dealing with resort crowds.

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable, modern, good central area and good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. 🥰

What could be improved: There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

  • Kyi from South Africa – 10 May 2025 (9/10)

    Affordable, accessible, convenient

What could be improved: no comment

Our stay at Kriti Hotel was truly memorable and wonderful. Very polite, friendly and helpful staff! Muhammad, Sukrive, and Aiman were not only fluent in English but also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Tanju, who, despite the language barrier, was so caring and went out of his way to assist us. He was there most of the time and treated us amazingly, while being very welcoming and kind. We can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional service and hospitality – they truly made us feel at home!

The breakfast was a delightful traditional Turkish spread, featuring fresh bread rolls, a variety of olives, cheeses, and Simit pastries (round seeded bread) which we really enjoyed. The lobby area was inviting, equipped with a large TV, and the reception and dining areas were easily accessible. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor café-style seating downstairs, perfect for relaxing.

A shout-out to the adorable kitten called Maya who the owners always keep in the lobby area, my Mum and sister always wanted to see her and Tanju always brought her without them asking; a small but wholesome extra touch for cat lovers!

Our Deluxe Family Room met our expectations, particularly for the price and 3-star rating. It featured two partitioned sections like a small apartment: one with two single beds and another with a double bed which was snug and comfy, serving our family of 4 very well. Amenities included a small smart TV, fridge, and an open wardrobe for our clothes. The bathroom facilities were clean, and we appreciated the balcony with a small table and chairs, offering a pleasant street view. Truly value for money!

The hotel's central location was ideal – just a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, the Old Bazaar, and the historic Yivli Minaret Mosque (the biggest mosque in Antalya). Murat Pasha Mosque was also right next door, along with several Islamic shops, adding to the cultural experience.

What could be improved: Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have an elevator, which we were informed about at check-in. We had to carry our 4 hand and 4 large luggages up to the top and 4th floor, which was a slight inconvenience. Additionally, the bidet in our room wasn't functioning properly, but there was a clean and functional WC on the ground floor with a fully working one downstairs near the dining area to make up for this. The breakfast was nice but would have been better if they had a bigger variety of options such as a buffet – we had more or less the same breakfast for all 7 days that we stayed and we had them included with our package.

  • Mihaela from United Kingdom – 3 April 2025 (8/10)

    Very good

  • Iuri from Moldova – 23 February 2025 (9/10)

Flexibility: allowed an early check-in (at 8:00 am)

  • Maryam from United Kingdom – 1 February 2025 (9/10)

The hotel is situated in a perfect location, just a short walk from major attractions. My room was clean, spacious and modern and had a comfortable bed, the staff were incredible friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. They also had good Internet connection i highly recommended this hotel and will definitely book again in the future

What could be improved: No elevator, room on the 4th floor uncomfortable having to go up stairs so if you have heavy luggage you will definitely struggle to bring it up stairs

  • Therealredstone from United Kingdom – 9 December 2024 (8/10)

Nice, pleasant, accommodating staff. I had a pleasant stay. There was a good internet connection. The hotel was modern and pretty clean. There are a few good restaurants nearby, I found the food better and reasonably priced compared to the restaurants in the old town which had more tourists.

What could be improved: I think it is a bit of a walk to the Old town – about 20 minutes but I wouldn't say that is a 'dislike'. The area was ok – could be better

  • Lea from France – 12 November 2024 (8/10)

The staff was very nice and pro active

What could be improved: We could hear everything next door… like if the other guests were in the room with us…

  • Albert from United States – 27 October 2024 (9/10)

A new, modern, and impeccably clean hotel. Nicely decorated lobby with a cozy outdoor podium to chill. Sweet and super helpful front desk guy who literally worked at the hotel every single day. My Deluxe Double Room (#406) was big and nicely designed, with all furniture in excellent condition. Quite a large refrigerator, which fit a lot of stuff. Very comfortable mattress on the bed. Great-looking bathroom with a big shower area. Fast hotel Wi-Fi. Perfect hotel location if you want to stay in the center of Antalya – the distance to Old Town is an easy 12-minute walk. Super reasonable rate I paid for my room (€35 per night).

What could be improved: The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so if you have heavy luggage and get a room on a high floor (or the top 4th floor like me), you’ll definitely struggle to bring it upstairs. The room card keys have the room numbers and all hotel information on them, which isn’t secure if you lose your key; they should remove those stickers with hotel info and just leave them plain white or do some cute design instead. The rooms are not soundproofed well enough, as I could clearly hear all the noises and conversations from the hallway, especially every morning when the housekeepers were cleaning. The pillows on my bed were hard and uncomfortable. There weren’t enough hangers in the closet. The bathroom amenities were low quality and had an unpleasant smell. Sometimes it took a couple of minutes for the shower water to get hot, and the water pressure could be stronger.

  • Errol from India – 22 October 2024 (9/10)

Aiyman and Alyena at the reception desk made my stay pleasurable. Hotel is well kept and everyone is very polite, helpful and kind.

What could be improved: Could have an iron board and iron since im a traveller its a must have i believe.
There is no lift so pack accordingly. Staff helps ive luggage though, thats a blessing.
