You know what? La Rezidans Hotel caught me off guard in the best way possible. I mean, when you’re walking down 2295 Sokak – it’s this quiet residential street that honestly feels more like where locals actually live than where tourists usually end up – you almost wonder if you took a wrong turn. But that’s exactly what makes this place special.

The hotel itself is refreshingly unpretentious. It’s got that solid, no-nonsense Turkish hospitality thing going on where they actually remember your name at the front desk, and the guy who helped with my bags knew exactly which restaurants nearby serve the best pide (there’s this little place two streets over that absolutely nobody talks about online, but the owner’s grandmother’s recipe is incredible). The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works, which honestly is more than I can say for some of the flashier places I’ve stayed. The air conditioning actually keeps up with Antalya’s summer heat, and you can sleep with the windows open at night because this neighborhood gets genuinely quiet after 10 PM.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that not everyone wants to be shuffled into the same tourist bubble. When I asked about getting to the old town, they didn’t just point me toward Kaleiçi like every other hotel does – they told me about the dolmuş route that locals use, which costs practically nothing and drops you right where you want to be. The walk to Konyaaltı Beach takes about 15 minutes if you don’t mind a little uphill on the way back, and there’s a small market literally around the corner where you can grab fresh fruit and those Turkish cookies that somehow taste better when you buy them from a neighborhood shop. The whole area has this lived-in feeling that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re just… staying somewhere real, you know? Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the breakfast is pretty standard Turkish hotel fare, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a place that does the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not.

  The staff were very friendly. When I was there there were very few using the pool so me and my mates had it to ourselves most days.

  Nothing. I really do not believe when I read the other comments here in Booking about this property that the guests are being real about this property. It really looks like a joke. There is nothing to mention as good. Unbelievable. Worst experience ever.
  
  What could be improved: The place is very old and badly maintained. It smells like cigarette smoke. It is dirty, hairs in the bed sheets, dirty toilet, as if someone had just left the room before we came in. Call girls coming and going from the hotel late night/early morning. Being clear, nothing against them, but not a place I would consider to be again. Loud noise all night long. You hear literally everything from other rooms and aisles: people walking, having calls, literally everything during all the night.
  We just want a place to spend one night, have a nice shower and get some sleep. We could not sleep at all and the shower was unbelievably dirty. See the pictures yourself.

  Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location – beach and airport are very near. The rooms, pool and facility itself were clean. AC was working really good. Simple and delicious breakfast. Evaluation – 10/10! Really recommend staying here!

  THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY. EVERY DAY FREE TRANSPORTATION TO THE BEACH, THE TIME THAT WE WANTED TO GO, AND PICK UP LATER ON TIME FROM THE MANAGER OF HOTEL, BUT THE BEST WAS THE SERVICE OF NIGHT SHIFT GUY ERSI, THAT REALLY AMAZING GUY, WE HAD VERY FUN HUMOR AND IN THE EVENING AND NIGHT WE COULD USE THE
  SWIMMING POOL EVEN TILL 23.00 AND ALWAYS WE HAD A SWEET WATERMELON OFFER AND TURKISH TEA .

  It’s a perfect location: about 10-15 min from the airport and only 7min to the beach on foot. The territory is small but really ambient, it was great to chill out in the garden at night. The room was tidy. The bathroom was clean, the bed was very comfortable. And the people were really helpful. I had late night check-in, they do everything very quickly. Thanks a lot to Emrah who made tea for me at night and gave a safe lift to the airport.
