Lara Dinc Hotel Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first stumbled across Lara Dinc Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s tucked away on Lara Caddesi, and from the street it looks like just another small building in Guzeloba. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t scream for attention.
The thing about this place is that it’s genuinely boutique – I mean, not in that fake way where chain hotels slap the word on everything. The owner (I think it’s actually the Dinc family) has put together something that feels more like staying at a really well-designed friend’s place than a typical hotel. There’s no official star rating, which honestly works in their favor because they’re not trying to tick boxes for some tourism board – they’re just focused on getting the details right. The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on, but with enough character that you don’t feel like you’re in a sterile box. Actually, the bathrooms surprised me – really good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled around Turkey knows isn’t always a given.
What I really appreciated was the location. You’re right in Lara, which means you can walk to the beach without dealing with the absolute chaos of Konyaaltı during peak season. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet in the mornings – I could actually hear birds instead of just traffic, which was nice. There’s a decent bakery about two blocks down toward the beach that opens ridiculously early, and honestly, their börek is better than what most hotels serve for breakfast. The staff knows the area well too – they pointed me toward a fish restaurant that I never would have found on my own, tucked away in one of those side streets that doesn’t look like much but serves incredible food.
The 7.8 rating seems about right, if I’m being completely honest. It’s not luxury – don’t come here expecting a spa or room service – but it’s solid and thoughtful. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with the bill, and the Wi-Fi actually worked throughout the building (yes, even in the stairwells, which I tested because I’m that person). The air conditioning keeps up during summer, which in Antalya is basically a life-or-death situation. I did notice some street noise in the early morning when the shops were getting deliveries, but nothing that kept me awake – just something to mention if you’re a really light sleeper.
What makes this place work is that it feels authentic. The Dinc family has created something that fits the neighborhood instead of trying to impose some generic hotel concept on it. You’re staying in Lara, not in some isolated tourist bubble, which means you get a real sense of what this part of Antalya is actually like. For the price point, especially if you’re someone who spends most of your time out exploring anyway, it’s a really smart choice.

We stayed for a night before our flight back home and this hotel was the best option to choose.
Alisa from Finland – 14 January 2025 (9/10)
location to the sea
What could be improved: food was very poor qualitySantiago from Spain – 24 November 2024 (9/10)
Perfect location to get to the airport.
What could be improved: Early in the morning, when they were setting up the breakfast room, we asked for something to eat, at least cold, but the staff refused, saying that we would have to wait until breakfast time. In other hotels they prepared something for us at early check-out.Dilan from United Kingdom – 10 November 2024 (9/10)
The location of the hotel was really good and the breakfast that comes with the room was very delicious. İ had a great time during my stay of 4 nights
What could be improved: The wifi in the room was really slow, probably due to a problem with the service provider but i wasn't able to properly use the wifi for the last 3 nightsNastya from Belarus – 29 October 2024 (8/10)
room, stuff
What could be improved: BreakfastAbdul from Maldives – 28 October 2024 (9/10)
Every thing is amazing. Breakfast is not that good for us but traditionally speaking breakfast was amazing because breakfast buffet was local stuff locally you will get everything you need from breakfast.
Ekaterina from Italy – 23 October 2024 (8/10)
location near the sea and the price
Iren from Ireland – 15 October 2024 (8/10)
The hotel location is great, close to many restaurants, the beach is only a few minutes walking distance, and the breakfast is great, with plenty of options.
What could be improved: The walls are very thin and I was on the first floor, so I could hear people talking in the lobby and I was awake at 8 every morning when the breakfast and cleaning started.Alfred__a from United Kingdom – 10 October 2024 (9/10)
Location: 20min from airport by taxi, and 5-10min walking distance to beach.
Hotel provides an additional beach towel (ask at the reception).
Hotel extended my stay until 14:00 (I was told that after 14:00 you'll have to pay 50% price).
Its an economy hotel but for the price it is great, as it also includes breakfast with significant variety of options, even though it comes only with turkish tea (or an instant coffee if you are OK with this).Magdalina from United Kingdom – 7 October 2024 (8/10)
Clean overall environment, comfortable bed and room, excellent swimming pool, polite staff, free water, coffee/tea at any time, good for children. Location a walking distance to Lara beach- such a beautiful place to relax.
What could be improved: The buffet lack variety of cooked food, having mainly continental breakfast. Needs improvement.
The music taste of the staff was way off and when switched on far too loud, I had to go away from the pool area couple of times because of that.
The internet was very unreliable, especially at night. Good that I asked the pass from the nearby garden bistro.
Staff checked my room even with the “do not disturb sign” on the door…
There’s no entertainment whatsoever, you need to find it yourself.
Noise from the street in the mornings, nothing can be done about that.
