When I first pulled up (parking was surprisingly easy, by the way), I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name – “Marine Homes” sounds a bit generic – but the moment you step inside, you get why this place has that 9.2 rating.

The staff here actually remember your name, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. They know their neighborhood too – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab proper Turkish breakfast that doesn’t cost a fortune, or which dolmuş route gets you to Kaleiçi without the hassle. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake; everything feels intentional rather than just decorated by committee. I particularly loved how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the main coastal road that you actually sleep well. The Turkish breakfast spread was honestly better than some five-star places I’ve stayed at, and they don’t rush you through it like you’re on some assembly line.

What really sells me on this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re a genuine ten-minute walk to some of Lara’s better beaches (the ones that aren’t completely overrun), and if you head the other direction, you hit these little family-run restaurants that most tourists never find. The location works whether you’re here in shoulder season – which I’d honestly recommend, fewer crowds and the weather’s still gorgeous – or if you’re stuck coming during peak summer madness. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra night because checking out feels like leaving friends behind. Sure, it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but that’s exactly why it works. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just get the basics absolutely right, and Lara Marine Homes definitely falls into that category.

  Really good value for the money. Apartments have everything necessary for a comfortable stay and there are plenty of grocery stores in the neighborhood.
  
  What could be improved: The Antalya airport is like almost to the hotel and planes takeoff in the sea direction, so they tend to fly right above the hotel. Really fascinating if you’re a kid, but sometimes it gets loud 🙂

  Lovely huge property and we were able to check in late at night. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was massive. Fully equipped kitchen. Small market not too far away.
  
  What could be improved: Did not provide any drinking water. Considering there are four guest, at least some water bottles would be good.
  The walls were extremely thin so take that into consideration if you are a light sleeper.

  We stayed at this hotel for a few days and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very responsive and attentive, and they kindly allowed us to check in early, which was incredibly convenient after a long journey. The room was spotlessly clean—everything was neat and well-maintained. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which makes it easy to get a good night's sleep and truly relax.   It was amazing 😻 seriously . Clean and tidy and they are cleaning it on daily basis like room service. I just wondered how I am going to do food delivery by myself. Because all the food delivery apps asking Turkish 🇹🇷 mobile number. I just went to reception and I ask the boss man he told me use my phone to do the order and you can pay by driver 🥰amazing. Both boss mans who is in the morning and evening shift guys are so helpful and welcoming . There is literally one off license shop 2 minutes walk from the apartment and you can get booze 🥃. So cool . It’s called dielek I think so . Overall I will definitely highly recommend this one . I will be back again .keep it up guys . Well done 👍🏼 and thanks 🙏🏽
