You know what caught me off guard about Lara Park Hotel? It’s this quirky little place that sits right on Lara Cad – and I mean literally on the main drag where all the action happens, but somehow it feels like you’ve stumbled into someone’s well-designed secret. The building itself has this boutique vibe that’s hard to pin down – it’s not trying to be a massive resort like the Titanic hotels further down the strip, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work.

I’ll be straight with you – the location is pretty much perfect if you actually want to experience Antalya rather than just hide in a resort bubble. You’re a quick walk from Lara Beach (the good part, not the overly crowded section), and getting into the old town takes maybe 15 minutes by dolmuş, which stops right outside. The neighborhood has that authentic Turkish coastal feel – you’ll hear the call to prayer mixing with beach music, and there’s this amazing little bakery just around the corner where locals actually go for their morning simit. The hotel doesn’t have an official star rating, which initially made me hesitant, but after staying there I realized they’re doing their own thing and doing it well.

What really sold me was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from a smaller property. The rooms have this boutique hotel aesthetic – clean lines, decent Wi-Fi (important, let’s be real), and they actually thought about things like outlet placement and shower pressure. The staff genuinely seems to know the area too, not just the tourist traps. When I asked about where to find good fish restaurants, they pointed me toward places in Kaleiçi that I never would have found otherwise. Parking can be a bit tight during peak summer months – Lara gets absolutely packed in July and August – but they have a small lot and the manager actually helped sort out street parking when needed. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful and well-run. If you’re the type who wants to be close to everything without paying resort prices, and you appreciate places with a bit of personality rather than cookie-cutter hotel vibes, this spot delivers. Just don’t expect a huge pool or endless buffets – that’s not what they’re going for here.

  Wide breakfast range was good but not quite to my personal taste or palate ( as a British customer.).
  
  The staff were particularly friendly, kind and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Chairs in the lounge were not comfortable for me and together with low lighting even when sitting underneath made reading difficult resulting in strained neck muscles.

  Very friendly staff at reception. I had to leave hotel at 3 am and would miss included breakfast the next morning, I asked if they could provide some "breakfast to go" and they did! Free tickets that include sunbed/umbrella/matress to the closest beach (5 mins walk) are given on request every day. Great value for money just 15 mins taxi ride from the airport! Perfect as a beach getaway if passing by Antalya and stop by for a few beach days.
  Room was also a good size and there's a pool.
  
  What could be improved: There's not much on the promenade on the beach. If you're looking for more than just beach experience it may not be best location. Also I wouldn't stay in this location for a long vacation. But for a couple of days was perfect!
  Breakfast was OK, but definitely not 4* if the hotel claims to be 4*.

  Great location, 5 minutes walk from Lara Beach. The hotel provides free daily access to the Buzz Beach, including sunbed and umbrella.
  Nice swimming pool.
  Comfortable room and bed.

  What could be improved: stay over cleaning should be daily or increase the amount of toilet roll you put in the rooms. Pool should be open slightly later, maybe until 8pm. Fix the grouting in the bathroom as it lowers the overall impression of the room.

  Mainly the location, it’s very close to the beach, room is tidy and comes with the balcony. really nice staff and clean pool.
  
  What could be improved: 1. The shower heads were old and didn’t work as properly, especially the rain shower, ended up not using it.
  2. No full size mirror in the room or the lobby, so if you need to check your full outfit I had to use room mirror to put on the floor to see how I look
  3. The breakfast. It’s just sad, I just ended up having cereal and coffee or orange juice.

  What could be improved: It would be nice to provide additional towel for the beach. I've asked at the reception and was told that I should use my own towels. This is strange as other hotel situated near beach would provide basic extras that could be taken to the beach.
