Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Lara Park Suites when I first pulled up to the building on Lara Caddesi – the address situation is a bit confusing with two different listings, but you’ll find it easily enough in the Güzeloba area. It’s one of those apartment-style hotels that’s become pretty popular in Antalya, and I get why. The location is actually brilliant if you want to be close to Lara Beach without dealing with the insane crowds and prices of the mega resorts right on the sand.

What struck me first was how quiet it feels, even though you’re literally on one of the main roads heading toward the beach. The suites themselves are spacious – I mean, properly spacious, not just “spacious for a hotel room.” You get a real kitchen, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a few days and want to grab groceries from the local markets instead of eating out every meal. The staff speaks decent English, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I’ve stayed at fancier places in Antalya that made simple things unnecessarily complicated, so this was nice. The 7.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away, but there’s nothing seriously wrong with it either.

Here’s what you should know about the area: you’re about a 10-minute walk to Lara Beach, which is perfect because you avoid the resort crowds but still get easy beach access. There’s a decent supermarket nearby, and the dolmuş (local minibus) stops right on Lara Caddesi if you want to head into central Antalya or to Kaleiçi for dinner. The neighborhood gets pretty lively in summer – lots of Russian and German tourists, which means good restaurants and a decent nightlife scene without being too rowdy. Parking can be a bit of a pain during peak season, but honestly, that’s true everywhere in this part of town. The building itself is modern enough that the AC works properly (crucial in July and August), and the wifi is solid throughout. If I had to pick one thing that could be better, it’d be the breakfast situation – there’s no restaurant on-site, but there are plenty of good spots within walking distance. Actually, that might be a plus if you’re not into buffet breakfasts anyway.

  The location is very good. Close to the beach, cafes, supermarkets and bus station.
  Big plus is the see view from the balcony.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was booked for 3 adults, but it was only prepared for 2 people.
  Surprisingly, the sofa in the living room was not foldable and did not provide a proper sleeping space.
  Additionally, there was no towel provided for the third guest.
  The staff said they would bring a mattress and a towel in the morning, but unfortunately, they did not keep their promise.
  Big dissappointment.

  What could be improved: الشقة موقعها قريب من المطار لذلك يكون فيه إزعاج أصوات طائرات مع فتح النوافذ وكذلك هي خالية من أي جماليات ومافيه مناديل وتحس انها فارغة ..هي نظيفة والمرافق موجودة جميعها وحولك كل شي شارع حيوي والبحر تروح له مشي لكن تحتاج اهتمام أكثر في التنسيق والجماليات كذلك وجود النمل فيها لابد ينتبهوا لهالنقطة ويضعوا مزيل للنمل والوصول لها وجدنا بعض الصعوبة حيث مكتب الاستقبال ليس في نفس مكان الشقق

  What could be improved: What was offered on Booking does not correspond to the actual situation. It was also misleading that the room is called a "loft," while in reality it is located on the first floor with a rather unpleasant view of the inner courtyard.There was a leak from the washing machine. We had to replace the shower hose ourselves because we didn’t want to waste our vacation time waiting for a repair technician. We even asked if we could pay extra to get the apartment with the view – a real loft – but the receptionist explained that everything was fully booked and there was no possibility to change.
  
  Additionally, after several attempts to report the issue to Booking, we were told that the local Booking administrator apologized for having no contact with their guests. This was an absurd situation, especially considering that Antalya is a well-known tourist destination.

  The distance to the beach was nice. There was a Mygros supermarket nearby. There was also a restaurant nearby with decent food. The Taxi station was near.
  
  What could be improved: The neighborhoud seemed a bit rough, specially the small ally that lead to the apartment was a bit stranded and felt a bit unsafe.

  The property was spacious and had good views. 1 block away from the beach.
  
  What could be improved: We had a few maintenance issues (blinds broken in 1 bedroom, cupboard not working in 1 bedroom, bathroom door jammed), it did not really affect our stay, but had to report it in case we were to be handle responsible.

  Very close to lara beach. The hosts were very welcoming. The kitchen and washing machine had all the facilities needed. Had a nice view from the balcony. Supermarket not too far. The apartment was very clean.
  
  What could be improved: Through booking.com we booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms and one of the rooms were supposed to have 2 single beds. Unfortunately we only got 2 double beds and guests felt uncomfortable to share as we expected two single beds. So two guests ended up sharing the living room space. Although the location was very close to the beach there was not a lot around the area including places to eat. The toilet had a very weak flush and there was not consistent hot water. A long walk to the reception which caused inconvenience. Not enough towels provided – although this did get sorted. Elevators can take a while and very small.

  The apartment we had was like a home away from home! had everything from kitchen utensils and a washing machine with detergent. All we had to do was bring ourselves! The staff we so helpful and we had access to the hotels pool which was a 5 minute walk away from the apartment, it was very clean and generally loved it. The beach was about a 10 minute walk away! 10/10
