You know what struck me first about this place? The name is completely honest – it really is just a large, simple family house that happens to take guests, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. I mean, when you’re walking down 150. Sokak (which, if you don’t know Antalya, is actually pretty centrally located without being right in the tourist chaos), you might walk right past it because it doesn’t scream “hotel” at you.

The family who runs it – and I’m pretty sure it’s been the same family for years – they’ve got this laid-back approach that either clicks with you or doesn’t. Check-in was this casual conversation in their living room while Turkish tea appeared without me asking, and the whole vibe is more like staying with relatives you actually like rather than a formal hotel experience. The rooms are spacious, properly spacious, not that “European spacious” nonsense where you can barely open your suitcase. Simple furniture, clean everything, and the AC actually works (crucial in Antalya summers, trust me). What I appreciated was the little things – thick towels that didn’t feel like sandpaper, a mini-fridge that stayed cold, and windows that opened properly so you could get some fresh air in the evenings.

Now, about that 7.2 rating – I get it. This isn’t going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobby shots. The WiFi gets a bit temperamental during peak hours, and if you’re expecting room service or a concierge desk, you’re in the wrong place. But here’s the thing about the location that most reviews miss: you’re actually in a real neighborhood where people live and work, not a sanitized tourist bubble. There’s this little bakery two streets over that opens at 6 AM and makes the best börek you’ll find outside someone’s grandmother’s kitchen, and the dolmuş stop is close enough to be convenient but far enough that you won’t hear them rumbling by all night. The old town (Kaleiçi) is maybe a 15-minute walk, but more importantly, you can actually find parking around here – which anyone who’s driven in Antalya will tell you is worth its weight in gold. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and the whole area had this perfect balance of being alive but not overwhelming. Would I recommend it? If you want a genuine, no-fuss base for exploring Antalya and you’re more interested in the city than hotel amenities, absolutely. Just don’t expect luxury – expect authenticity, and that’s honestly harder to find these days.

  It was an amazing stay! The location is just perfect, a 15-minute walk from the sea, the house is very clean and everything looks good. The apartment is big and you have all you need. The owner Caner was very helpful and even gave us a ride a couple of times when we wanted to explore Antalya. The communication is smooth, he speaks English and Russian in addition to Turkish, so there won't be any problems. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again once I come back to Antalya. Thank you!

  I have to say , I had a great stay! Host is so friendly, you can ask everything to him! The bathroom was recently renovated and very clean. The apartment is close to the city center and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, so you can enjoy your rest! Everything else in the apartment was very tidy and comfortable. I'd highly recommend you to stay here. Thanks!

  As Tidiness and Cleanliness
  are the most important thing to me, I have to say that I was amazed by the view. Especially the bathroom with its recovery new form and super comfy showering.
  Just peaceful in the city centre which made my discovering better as well as the house with its spot that cares the sunlight all over.
  Have to thank again to the house owner family as they were so kind from the welcome to the goodbye and also by being there for me whenever I need their kind support.

  Excellent apartment. 10 linutes walk to the main promenaee/beach. Quiet neighbourhood, safe and lots of shops around. John is an excellent host.

  The apartment is very large and clean. It is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with trees. Just half an hour’s walk to the old town & harbour. From the airport, take 1A tram to Sarampol & the apartment is 15 mins walk. The host was very helpful. Good value for money.
  
  What could be improved: The bath/shower would benefit from updating. But everything was very clean.
