You know what struck me first about Lupo Libero? It’s tucked away in this residential pocket of Muratpaşa where you actually hear roosters in the morning – I mean, you’re still in Antalya proper, but it feels like you’ve stumbled into a quieter slice of Turkish life. The taxi driver had to circle twice to find 462 Sokak, which honestly isn’t a bad thing because it means you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that hits the more obvious hotel strips.

The place itself is sort of refreshingly unpretentious for having “spa” in the name. Don’t expect some marble palace – this is a solid 3-star that actually delivers on what it promises instead of trying to punch above its weight. The spa area is genuinely nice though, nothing fancy but the hammam is authentic and the massage therapist (at least when I was there in September) really knew her stuff. The whole property has this lived-in comfort that you don’t always find in newer places. Sure, some of the furniture looks like it’s seen better days, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which – trust me if you’ve stayed in budget places around Antalya – is worth mentioning.

What I really appreciated was how the staff just… gets it. They’re not hovering or overly formal, but when you need something sorted, they actually sort it. The breakfast isn’t going to change your life, but there’s proper Turkish tea, decent cheese and olives, and they don’t run out of the good stuff by 9 AM like some places do. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s space right there, no hunting around side streets or paying extra fees. And here’s something nobody tells you: you’re actually walking distance to some proper local restaurants along the main road, the kind where Turkish families eat, not just the tourist traps. There’s this little lokanta maybe five minutes away that does incredible pide – the kind of discovery that makes staying in residential areas worth it. The beach isn’t right outside your door, but honestly, a quick dolmuş ride gets you to Konyaaltı without the beachfront hotel prices. Sometimes being slightly off the beaten path just makes more sense, especially if you’re planning to explore the city rather than just park yourself by a pool all week.

  The staff were all good. Breakfast was a good variety. Rooms were clean. Water bottles provided every day and a variety of teas and coffee provided in room. Basic but good value for the price paid.

  Friendly staff, amazing location in the center of the city close to everything. Good room size and overall a good value for money.
  
  What could be improved: The internet was not good. Wifi kept disconnecting and losing internet. The room could have been cleaner, floors were a bit dirty and dusty.

  The location is amazing!! In the heart of Kaleici where you have everything around you. Shopping mall 200 meters away. If you are okay with a basic decent room, this is an amazing hotel.
