Maison Green Hill Hobbit Villas & Boutique Hotel Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of quirky places, but Maison Green Hill actually pulled off something pretty special here in the hills above Manavgat. You know those hobbit hole hotels that usually end up looking like sad concrete caves with round doors slapped on? Well, this isn’t that. The villas are tucked into this genuinely peaceful spot in Pelitdibi – honestly, I had to ask three locals how to pronounce it correctly – and when you first pull up the winding road, it feels more like stumbling onto a movie set than checking into a hotel.
The whole place has this organic feel that I wasn’t expecting. The hobbit villas are actually built into the hillside properly, not just themed rooms with gimmicky furniture, and each one feels completely different from the next. Mine had these thick stone walls that kept everything surprisingly cool even during the July heat, and the round windows framed the surrounding pine trees perfectly. There’s something about waking up semi-underground that should feel claustrophobic but somehow doesn’t – maybe it’s because they got the ventilation right, or maybe it’s just that the morning light filters in so nicely. The regular boutique rooms are lovely too, though honestly, if you’re coming here and not doing the hobbit experience, you’re sort of missing the point.
What really won me over was how thoughtfully they handled the details. The staff genuinely seemed to care about the place – not in that over-rehearsed way, but like they were actually proud to work there. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking was easy (which matters more than you’d think when you’re hauling luggage up mountain roads), and they had this perfect balance of being helpful without hovering. The location puts you about twenty minutes from Manavgat’s main drag, which means you get the peace and quiet but can still grab proper dinner in town when you want it. I mean, the hotel restaurant is decent, but sometimes you want options, you know? The pool area gets busy around midday – families with kids love this place, which makes total sense – but early morning and evening it’s perfectly serene. Just be ready for some uphill walking if you’re in one of the lower villas; it’s not exactly a hike, but my out-of-shape self definitely felt it after a few days of Turkish breakfast indulgence.

An excellent boutique hotel in the mountains. The view is amazing!
The staff did everything — and even more — to make our stay comfortable, and they spoke Russian as well, which was very helpful.
We were upgraded to a better room free of charge.
Everything we asked for, including dishes and kitchenware, was promptly provided.
Any request was fulfilled immediately.
The rooms were spotless with a spacious shower.
Dinner by the fireplace, with authentic and incredibly fresh cuisine, was absolutely perfect!
Breakfast is available at any convenient time, based on guests’ preferences.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and will be coming back ourselves!
Top marks — and a big thank you to all the hotel staff!Catherine from Australia – 5 April 2025 (10/10)
Wonderfully kind hospitality, easeful, comfortable, serene, gorgeously decorated room and breathtakingly incredible view. I could have sat and looked at the mountains and the mist in the valley for weeks. Delicious breakfast, again with a view of cosy fire. Deep appreciation as a solo traveler for the kind welcome 🤍 and attentive care given to ensure I had everything I needed and a 5star stay. Thank you, recommend

What could be improved: Nothing I enjoyed every bit of itHeather from Australia – 5 July 2024 (10/10)
Loved the atmosphere and view and wonderful service! Rooms are very spacious and very clean and comfortable with gorgeous view of the river and mountains. All the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They recommended Fortune Rafting, just down the road for canyoning and rafting and they were also excellent.

Our recent stay at Maison Green Hill in Turkey was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled amidst breathtaking mountains and a serene river, this hotel offers an unparalleled connection with nature. The fresh air and stunning landscapes created a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The hospitality of the staff was remarkable. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm and welcoming hospitality truly made us feel at home.
One of the most memorable activities was rafting on the river. It was an exhilarating experience, and the staff ensured it was both safe and fun. Additionally, the hotel pool offered a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, making our swims both relaxing and picturesque.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We loved every moment and can't wait to come back!Christina from Germany – 8 May 2024 (10/10)
